The park has convenient poop pickup bags in both big and small dog areas (but you have have to do a bit more walking in the big dog area). Shaded area with seats if you get tired. You can also leash up your pooch and go for a walk along with bay trail that is right next to the park. Cool wind sculptures on the top of the hill. Clean bathrooms and drinking fountains for both human and dogs in the parking lot by the enclosed dog park area.

There's also some overgrown Weeds onto one side of the field, so I'm sure there is bunnies or groundhog that live in there cause my dogs are always always sniffing around! Lol There is a small dog park and a little dog park along with a dog fountain and hose out in front. There's also a bathroom for women nearby. There's also a really nice trail and some cool art sculptures and interactive art pieces at the top of the hill if you walk all the way up. This particular day my dogs were tired and didn't want to walk all the way up so we just walked around the park for 30 minutes and got to play with dogs And then we left.

Love that it is partially turfed up so that the dogs can play without getting too dirty. Alot of dog owners are very courteous about rinsing the area with the designated water spout for when their dog poops or pees on the turf. Good amount of benches, but not enough coverage around the park since the sun can get pretty strong in Foster City.

With its dedicated parking lot, families can easily venture in, make a quick visit, and head on out even during busy times of the day. The parking lot also has a pretty well maintained bathroom and trash bag/can facilities for those looking to stick around a bit longer. There are two open play areas fenced off separately for fur companions of all sizes. Each area has benches shaded by trees and modalities for the pups to interact with. The water station is well kept and working as expected. There seems to be a good steady flow of families coming out to this park and visited by many locals and regulars. If you have a pup of your own and happen to be in the area, you should definitely make a visit! Overall, this neighborhood dog park is a great one and certainly a watering hole for many residents nearby as well as visitors to the lake just blocks away. With its well maintained facilities, this park is sure to attract patrons for many seasons to come!

So I went for a walk and visited the park. It's pretty easy to drive pass the entrance. The walk-in path is at Kehoe Ave & Kelly St. There's also a driveway leading to a common parking lot with Bayside Academy. It's not clearly marked, and it looks like you're driving into a school campus. So, I parked on the street. Based on the photos someone posted 12 yrs ago, this park hasn't changed much. It's looks fairly well maintained, and pretty clean of litter and dog turds. It has a cool walking path that goes by the Mariner's Lagoon. This community park is a nice place to rest, exercise, walk your dog, or just take a break from urban life. Located at 2111 Kehoe Ave, in the City of San Mateo.
