Nice person..but instead of seeing people for years ongoing it would be helpful to give home exercise handouts.

He very quickly diagnosed me with a very aggressive cancer and got me going into treatment and to the right Oncology team ASAP! He is our family doctor, and I hope he will be for the forseeable future. He really is a funny, kind man with a boatload of medical knowledge. He explains things to me, and shows me in books, and printouts all the info I could possibly want to know about my various ailments. He CARES! Maybe that is the main difference. His Caring!

Then dr Clark can only treat one subject at time and has very little time 15 minutes max . Each consultation feel like you being told how to behave during the consultation and reminded what consultation should be about . Is a physician first role to listen ? . I have dread over the years talking to him and having to go the office . He might be smart I think but his bed manners are pretty bad .Sutter has become worse as time goes and allow very little time . I am thinking about changing system because all the physician I see are always rushed , late and I see the quality going down . Sutter system is all about money and time . I have felt dehumanized over the years . Some great physician have left Sutter for this reason over the years ....

REALLY positive experience with Dr. Culver. I have a long list of medical issues and I was seen by…read moreher since my primary doc was not available. She was on time, got a FULL medical history on me before coming to any conclusions, and the part that made me want to cry-- when she didn't know the answer to something, she admitted it and was willing to do more research! That last part is like music to my ears after being misdiagnosed for years, being brushed off, or told it's just normal female problems. She listened and actually HEARD me instead of just waiting for her turn to speak. I left feeling respected, cared for, and hopeful. She never made me feel like I was a burden for having so many different medical issues at once. I wish more doctors were this compassionate and non-egotistical. It's frustrating enough to deal with all of these maladies-- it takes a one in a million doctor to sort through all of my chart info and somehow ease my frustrations a bit. Dr. Culver, THANK YOU, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart!

I had to wait for the appointment for MORE THAN A MONTH because I was a new patient. Obviously, I had no choice but to wait, while during the ridiculous waiting time, my medical issues become more severe, which required medical attention. After waiting for weeks, finally, I had my appointment with him, and I explain my urgent medical issues, and his immediate unexplained response was: "you can go to another doctor if you want". I needed medical assistance, but he tried to "get away" from helping, for some unexplained reason. He continued with his sketchy behavior by saying that: "right now, I don't accept any new patients". I also asked for a note for medical leave, but he responded by: "I don't do that". Due to his suspicious behavior, I got the feeling that Salvatore doesn't say the whole truth, and it seems he's trying to hide something. The fact that he agreed to see me, and once he saw me, he almost immediately changed his version to "I don't accept any new patients", is suspicious. To conclude, Salvatore is playing with people's health, and have no problem to accept patients to meet with him, and then just decide that he doesn't want to treat urgent medical problems after they have waited for OVER A MONTH to see him, and just send them away, knowing it will take a very long time for them to get medical attention with a different doctor. After investigating his background even deeper by reading more reviews about him, his inconsistent behavior seems to be a pattern. Salvatore seems to be untrustworthy. I'm not sure how Aetna allow themselves to continue to work with him. It's probably better for everyone to find a good doctor.

He is especially good with bio-identical hormones both for men and women. He is one of the few doctors in this area that will do the Wiley Protocol (same hormonal template as you had when you were young--the one that Suzanne Sommers does) and he knows T.S. Wiley personally. He will also do the HCG Diet. Both of these are extremely effective, but also controversial, so he will do them if you ask for them. I like the fact that he is open minded, keeps up on all of the cutting edge therapies and is holistic instead of being of the drug oriented "standard of practice" mind that most doctors are.
