We purchased a home where he was the listing agent. Our accepted offer specified that scrap wood,…read morea refrigerator, leftover paint, chemicals, workbench, and golf clubs were to be removed prior to closing. The accepted offer also stated that the home was sold "as is", and no repairs would be made to the home. At the final walk through, we again pointed out that the items were to be removed. Additionally, the listing stated that the home was equipped with a heat pump, which upon inspection was found to never have been installed. In the case of the heat pump, he threw his employee under the bus and said it was there fault it wasn't listed properly. On both the cleanup and heat pump issues he hid behind his interpretation of "as is". We're doing the cleanup ourselves, even though it was specified in our contract. If Adam Schmier is involved in your deal,be very cautious. I don't trust his integrity.

Bill answered The phone the first time I called and listen to me explain my frustration. He quickly made an appointment to go out to my house and do a walk-through. After thoroughly walked into the house we went back to his office to discuss why my house wasn't selling. He printed a bunch of paperwork and put it in front of me so I had a visual of what he was saying to me and what that meant. He took the time to answer all my questions and set up an appointment to go back out to the house to get it listed. After all of this we were closing almost 2 weeks early!!!! I was blown away especially in this market some people are closing two weeks late. He took the time to Call and explained the process of signing documents and what happens next. He explained the numbers and then we had a conversation on how I can make a sound decision on my future of finding A home out of state. He absolutely did not have to take the time to explain to me different options choices, and answer questions when he's not out of state realtor.(So obviously he would not make money off of that deal) I am truly blessed with all of his help with this process and information on The sale as well as future investment ( a home) in my life.
