i found paul after googling for photogs in the montreal area. we were looking for someone to…read moredocument our 5 year annimoon and babymoon while in town end of september. after a couple of email exchanges and phone calls, we finally met up with him along with his assistant thomas when we were in montreal. we had a blast with these two! we walked around old town montreal for about 2 hours...got virtually a walking tour, talked about life, leisure, took lots of pics, etc. we totally lucked out (since i was very skeptical at first with googling a photographer vs. getting a personal recommendation). thomas carried our coats all pm - thank you thomas! i felt like p diddy with his own umbrella guy. lol. i THOROUGHLY recommend paul since he was delightful. we received our photogs recently (just a couple of weeks after our trip) via an online gallery and the cd today. the turnaround time was great. we look forward to using one of the pictures for our christmas card this year. I hired her to shoot portraits of my parents and their 50th anniversary, but because I hate being photographed did my best to stay away from being in front of the camera. Two weeks ago, she finally got me. Took my first headshots. Sourced an affordable makeup artist (first time I'd let someone else do my makeup) and, while dealing with someone who loathes being in front of the camera and thinks she looks stoned and dead, managed to produce the most incredible headshots I've ever seen. I've been staring at them for weeks going "What wait? Is that really ME?" Like a fine wine, Shoshana's work has got better with age. And it was pretty darned terrific to begin with.
