I uncovered a session of incredible, haunting photos that she took of her own daughter in Parc Outremont one Fall and was instantly sold by their colors, composition, and the portrait of the fragile, fleeting beauty of childhood. Since Kate is a mom, she knows how to relate to kids and how to coax the most beautiful belly laughs and joyful expressions out of them. What she was able to get out of my three year-old daughter and me in that hour or so was pure gold. My favorite photo of my daughter is one that Kate captured during that session, and that's saying a lot since we must have thousands of pictures of our baby girl by now! Kate also offers incredible value. We later did a family session in Central Park with one of New York City's TOP family photographers whose basic fee was about 6 times more than Kate's...and although the photos are indeed beautiful, I think that Kate's work is even more timeless and iconic! It is worth flying out to Montreal just to have her capture your special moments (especially with the advantage of the US/CAD exchange rate), and I would do so in an instant should the USA/Canada borders reopen! She is professional, reliable, kind, and funny. I love her as a person, and I feel that her photography work is the very best you can buy almost at any price point. I first met this wonderful guy at a yelp event and I knew he was awesome from the day I met him. Positive energy, always smiling, pleasant to speak with. We are still suffering the consequences of choosing Studio Zoomtech photography + videography for…read moreour wedding in Montreal... The photographer was loud and drew attention to himself such that guests got irritated. The photos were delivered on a CD within a week, but the quality was unimpressive. My sister-in-law took photos of the wedding with her own SLR camera that were much better than the Studio Zoomtech one - and she has absolutely no training and minimal experience with her camera. The videographer was nice, personality-wise... not as irritating to guests. However, sometimes he had to be told where to position himself to get a good view of the activities. And, sometimes, during the dances, he actually went *through* the stage and the performers while videoing - thereby confusing the dancers and risking people tripping and falling. Our wedding was over six months ago and we are STILL waiting for the wedding video!!!! Overall it was a dissatisfying experience :-(. I would not recommend Studio Zoomtech to anyone for their wedding photography and videography.

We chose him because his work evokes emotions we didn't know we could feel, just from looking through his portfolio online. Brent is genuine, has a great personality and knows how to make his subjects feel comfortable. After the wedding, so many of our family and friends, from my little niece to my grandma, told us how much fun it was to shoot with him. They liked him even more after seeing the photos.
