Very helpful with my business. I highly recommend it. Im glad they solve my doubts and y thank them.

We have been coming to John for several years now. By chance we found him and have not looked back since. He always devoted time and helps us with everything we have. He is extremely patient, easy going and never is condescending. A persons vibe and energy plays a big role and I have to say John has amazing energy. We always come in worried about our taxes and business documentation and end up leaving relieved. Pricing is very fair especially considering how John goes above and beyond for you. He gives great advice and we have never felt rushed or hurried. I admit I often go unprepared and John has always been patient with me and helped me throughout everything. I cannot day enough great things about John and his business. He also helped us open our first business and the process was seamless and very easy. I am glad we found John and we only hope the best in the future. Give him a try and you won't look back! read more

Review is long overdue... Found Jon's office from Yelp after TurboTax told me I would owe thousands of dollars in taxes. Was able to make an appointment with Jon and he was able to fit me in on a Sunday (it was pretty close to tax time). Which I thought was amazing b/c he was available on such short notice. Found his office easily and we went through my personal taxes/paperwork and he found some things that TurboTax didn't. He did the filing and saved me money, thank you! read more

Tax Day was fast approaching, and I had a problem. I figured it would take me an entire day to find a CPA who'd even pick up the phone. In my experience, CPAs during tax season --let alone, tax week-- are likely operating on very little sleep, lots of coffee and would not appreciate people waiting to the last minute to take care of some tax issue. I was proven right about that until I dialed the 6th CPA on my lengthy list: John Pulles, CPA... I needed some expert counsel and some tax preparation work for both personal and corporate matters. John, though busy, carved out time to work with me. He even communicated with me late at night. A business owner who keeps in communication with his firm's clients ---personally--- earns 5-STARS right that moment in my world. Finally, because I am in the hills above Brea and La Habra, Costa Mesa is a bit of a drive for me, but John can work with his clients remotely by phone, text and email. Don't let physical distance keep you from a real Orange County Treasure! Highly recommended. read more

I called the office to inquire about a scenario I found myself with Investment Properties/Capital Gains Taxation. John directly answered my call - no waiting time, no receptionist, no consultation fee. I received expert and sound advise and did I say FREE consultation?! I don't always write reviews, but when someone goes out of their way to appease someone's worries at no benefit to themselves - at minimum, I can write a review and share my positive experience. Again, thank you John! read more

Went there because of recommended from neighbors. Had an appointment on Friday at 5:00pm. Finally left at 5:30pm. No regard for my time

Saved my family thousands! My husband called him on a Saturday before tax due date and he completed our taxes on Sunday. Couldn't be happier with the service. read more

Mr. Pulles failed to send my tax return to the IRS for 2016. That caused me a fee of $1,700 which I am still paying to the IRS on a monthly basis. He did not take responsibility and declined to take my calls when I ask for his intervention. I would not use his services never again!! read more

My experience with John J Pulles is horrible. Waste of time. Quoted too quickly without knowing all the facts and struggled to answer what the service entailed. Decided to go to other more genuine tax office. read more

This is my 2nd year using John for my CPA. I went through a divorce and was a little shy about starting with someone new. John's winning personality. great expertise and professional but lighthearted way about him is delightful. John is personable all while doing his CPA thing he does and boy does he do it well! I am so grateful that I trusted the yelp reviews. He's a gem! His support staff is great as well. He has earned the business of my daughter as well. John makes what is usually painful, very painless.
