I slipped on ice back in 2004 which put my lower back out of whack. Unbeknownst to me, before I…read morecould get to the chiropractor my middle of my back was being affected because the lower was out. Later on my neck went out of alignment from some whiplash from a car accident. At the time I didn't have insurance. When I finally did, I went to my first chiro and they were great, it went out again, went to another person and they were great but I moved out here and now needed a new one. This guy, (I'm not sure if there are any other Chiropractors that work there) but if he's the old guy RUN! One my first visit, or consultation which is normal for anyone who hasn't been. They talk with you and do x-rays before doing any adjustments. This guy just gave off the wrong vibe, was short with me and very sharp of tongue, just flat out rude. I tried to get over this fact chalking it up to maybe he was having a bad day. My insurance only covered 13 visits anyways and I really needed to get better again. On my 2nd visit he went over my x-rays and basically made me feel as if I had no hope. "Oh this is bad, we probably can't even fix this (regarding my lower back), and the middle of your back looks like you have a small curvature of the spine. You were probably born with that, and yea your necks out of alignment to, but were not gonna worry about any of that just your lower back, if we can do anything that is." Again remember I wasn't born with a curvature of the spine!!! And no other Chiropractor I have been to would say sorry were not gonna help your other areas, just this one. Your spine works in harmony with the rest of your spine in all 3 regions. I was flabbergasted but what choice did I have I felt I've already used now 2 visits with my insurance. He asked me to get on the table so he could do my first adjustment, and mind you my lower back is SUPER sensitive; on top of the fact that it was swollen from being out of whack for to long. So as he pushed down the first time on my lower back I gasped extremely loud as tears welled up in my eyes from the pain. Instead of being reassuring he told me literally, "Don't be so loud, you'll frighten the people in the waiting room!" I couldn't believe my ears! I felt embarrassed and apologized, but why should I have. No other chiropractor has EVER said anything like that to me ever!!!! It always is gonna hurt at first before you get better. I KNOW this. His bedside manner is absolutely atrocious!!!! I stopped going after that. I had to wait months again before I could go back to the Chiropractor, but I would rather of had to wait again before going to see him again and have him lie to me and not even really attempt to help me. This guy has got to go back to school! I had 2 friends that referred me to Sandusky Wellness Center, where not only do they work on my lower/middle back and neck, they also have a nurse there to do trigger point injections for swelling, and physical therapy. It's all encompassing. And I couldn't be happier and I can walk without pain again. If you want to feel like you walked into a Drs office straight out of the 70's and its dark and have terrible bedside manner, than this is the guy for you! Good luck to you..

You are told you'll have 18 visit including PT, injections and and adjustment... and tell you you need a posture pump, back brace and at home electrode machine. They never provide you with the cost for all of the 18 visits or extra addons they tell you you need. They say the good thing is is that most is covered by your insurance and has that it has exceded your deductible and then hand you a bill with the out of pocket which was ridiculous for the amount of time you get for your appt and patient care your recieve. I felt pressured to accept the 18 appts. And regret it everytime I return. Each person I see while at my appt. Is hearded through the same routine. I originally went in for a neck and low back adjustment and felt pushed to pay for more than I needed. The first day I was given a litocain shot by the nurse and was to go to PT following. Pt asked the nurse if "my name inserted here" has recieved my shot yet and the nurse replied who??? I haven't see a "insertè name here". This was right after she reviewed my records , gave me the shot and I was still sitting in the chair she asked me to sit in while I waited for PT.. RED FLAG. There is lack of patient care, tons of gossip in the PT room and care about your o They want your insurance money.

He takes the time to talk to you, get to know your needs and tell you things to do at home that will help. He truly cares about all of his patients, and goes that extra mile to do anything he can to help. If your back or neck is too tight for a manipulation he will use an electric massager to loosen up your muscles, or stretch and massage it himself to loosen it. His front desk staff is just as friendly and accommodating and will work you in if you need it. I literally drive more than half an hour to go see him- I'm very picky about my chiropractors bit he fits the bill!
