He has an extensive store full of vitamins, health snacks, essential oils and more. If you're not sure what something is or how it works, just ask him. He's very knowledgeable. A visit usually lasts about an hour because he adjusts you, puts an electric muscle stimulator on your sore spots after the adjustment and then puts you on the "roller". A machine that rolls out your spine and feels ahhhmazing. Some cons I can see people having with Dr. Reed - He does not take new patients. He only takes patients "by recommendation" only. Someone who is a patient has to recommend him to you. He does not take insurance. Every visit starts at approx. $45. He is a talker. He loves to interact with you the entire visit. He won't just adjust you quietly and leave. He is a believer in holistic health. He is rough! He will get you adjusted for sure, because he is not afraid to toss you around. I personally prefer a rough chiropractor because my neck can be stubborn and not always want to adjust. However I know some people are afraid of those kind of adjustments or don't like them. As a person with fibromyalgia I suffer from chronic pain and have been on the hunt for a massage therapist who practices myofascial release. I accidentally discovered Rebecca when I was desperately searching for a massage therapist to help me get through a really bad flare up. I spoke with her and even though she was booked solid because of the holidays she said she would call me back if she got a cancellation, so imagine my surprise when she called me back an hour later! My appointment went by way too fast! They never provide you with the cost for all of the 18 visits or extra addons they tell you you need. They say the good thing is is that most is covered by your insurance and has that it has exceded your deductible and then hand you a bill with the out of pocket which was ridiculous for the amount of time you get for your appt and patient care your recieve. I felt pressured to accept the 18 appts. And regret it everytime I return. Each person I see while at my appt. Is hearded through the same routine. I originally went in for a neck and low back adjustment and felt pushed to pay for more than I needed. The first day I was given a litocain shot by the nurse and was to go to PT following. Pt asked the nurse if "my name inserted here" has recieved my shot yet and the nurse replied who??? I haven't see a "insertè name here". This was right after she reviewed my records , gave me the shot and I was still sitting in the chair she asked me to sit in while I waited for PT.. RED FLAG. There is lack of patient care, tons of gossip in the PT room and care about your o They want your insurance money.
