My current racket is bent, and though I don't play in a league or anything, I do play often with friends just for fun. Previous wrist surgery has really hampered my enjoyment though, and I've been on the search for a comfortable racket. Not only did they have recommendations, but they let me take loaners to test out on the court for a week to make sure I was making the right decision. I'm so glad I decided to test them out, because I would've made the wrong decision just from holding them in the store. Their loaner program is MUCH appreciated. They also sell used rackets. I had some great rackets in storage that they were able to take a look at, and recommend a few that may resell. I left the rackets there to sell on consignment, and plan to donate the money to new rackets for the youth camp they work with. They have a steady stream of people from local high school students to beginners to league members coming through. They sell clothing & equipment. They also service equipment. Really your one-stop-shop for all things tennis.

They spent some money for these kids! There are a couple of batting cages, a full court basketball court, a walking track, playground for the kiddos and a remote-control car track. I almost want to go buy a remote-control car to play. The park also has a really nice memorial to the George Prince Ferry disaster of 1976, so you get a little history lesson too. The biggest problem with the park is that it is F'n loud with all the cars going past constantly.

The playground equipment is all new and was donated by a medical conference a couple of years ago as post-K largesse. The only issue with the space is that the condo owners across the street walk their dogs in the greenspace and some forget to scoop the poop. Not cool when you have kids running around. The skating rink is now a parking lot; the boxing space is offices; they've made the place a lot safer than when I was kid...how did we climb up in the rafters of the stage.
