Now, too often I feel like medicine is prescribed piecemeal to treat chronic symptoms, rather than putting the pieces together and treating the cause. Just my 2 cents! Considering it is an urgent clinic and not even being checked in for 45 mins on a non busy morning i felt like I needed to share this experience. Thankfully my condition wasn't too serious. Surely the doctor is wonderful from what I read but he needs a front desk coverage that mirrors his professionalism and skills.

Not only that, but Dr. Barnhill (who is now thankfully retired) is a quack who does not know what she's talking about or doing. Dr. Khuu is a bigot who denied me medical treatment/care. He also lied on my medical report. They both lied and said I discharged the practice when I did not Nurses and office manager (Cindy) were routinely rude and disrespectful over the phone. The front desk constantly screws up paperwork and appointments. Avoid this practice at all cost. Do not trust the care of you or your loved ones to this practice. It is not what it once was since AON took over.

Dr. Firestone really takes the time to explain things so that they make sense to someone who is not well-schooled in hematology. She also has this magic way of making the patient feel really at ease with her, even if you're doing things like sticking your tongue out or letting her feel around your throat (checking the thyroid, maybe?). Dr. Firestone is also a really good listener and takes care to address the patient's concerns. I've only encountered a handful of healthcare providers in my 32 years that I thought were likable as well as being good at what they do, so I'm just a little excited... I would highly recommend her.

At the next appointment he said I had neuropathy but had no idea why. I already knew that. He suggested an obscure blood test which he said wouldn't show anything, then abruptly left the room. End of appointment - no goodbyes, no words at all. What a waste of time and an overall unpleasant experience! Stay away from this man!

Dr Singh and his staff was response and he had both discussions and referrals to various tests to check if there were any underlying issues. Fortunately, none but it was reassuring to hear from him and his colleague on the results. I was impressed that his report was issued that same afternoon. I would definitely recommend him.
