The owner actually told us regarding our road, "The conditions are horrible to work on/in thus all your problems...You should probably reach out to another company for your needs, we will pass on work in your development." So, basically, they only want to take easy jobs that yield them a lot of money. Incredibly frustrating. We will move on to another company that is capable of handling our needs.

RJH Builders installed multiple Pella windows for us in 2015. Recently, I noticed a crack at the…read morebottom corner on one of the windows. And the widow position is tedious for us to reach from outside. So I asked Rob to put a layer of window glue on the outside glass of that window to prevent spreading of the crack in future. The answer from him was.., there is a lifetime guarantee on Pella windows. To follow up, he immediately contacted our Pella Sales rep. Yesterday, ten years after that window was installed, Pella came to replace the cracked sash at no cost to us. That was 3 weeks after we informed Rob of the window issue. Worry no more! **…read more In 2011, with my own architectural/engineering degree, I had designed and contracted the building of this property, we now call home. At that time we used this location soley for vacation purposes. Then in 2013, we moved into this location as our home base. Sure enough, we found that we needed to seriously enlarge this property to make it for our full-time home living. For the project, I interviewed 4 home builders; We finally decided on Rob Harrison/RJH for multiple reasons. Now looking back, from what we have learned, with Rob being the builder, the degree of stressful home building process, especially living in the property at the same time, was drastically minimized. As well, during the process, like morning sun, we had looked forward to seeing Rob every morning with that contagious big smile and jolly spirit. Of course, there were ups and downs during the process like any construction process. Yet, as whole, we were blessed of having Rob putting up the addition of our home; its size increased from less than 3000 sq ft. to 4000+ square feet. I found Rob being extremely responsible, knowledgable, competent, and understanding. He never fussed on the little things. Rob always has a firm grasp on the details of the projects. Additionally, Rob always seemed to know what we were expecting. We never had to tear down anything to rebuild. He never imposed pricing penalties on the small changes and/or extras. Examples, the new deck went from 24×17 to 24x18. Room floor plan went from 32×22 to 32x23 with no major price increase from his end. That includes floor to ceiling windows, heating, plumbing, hard wood floor for both 10' ceiling on main floor and 9' in lower level. As an architect myself, I normally can provide 95% estimates accuracy. Rob was never off the chart. We have always been on the same page when it comes to pricing. I have sent Rob to a friend of mine to rehabilitate and rebuild her Brookline, Mass. historical building, including a 4-story residential elevator addition. I will firmly stand behind Rob with sincere, honest recommendations to anybody with no hesitation. The workers were all very professional and warm, on schedule, and did a solid B+/A- job of cleaning - vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Clear out was also fine. However, one side of a sliding pocket door was knocked off its hanging rail by the cleaners (it's never had an issue in 30+ years). I think they may have opened it too far when sliding open. When I noticed it before they left, they acknowledged it happened. Later, following up through our realtor, Relax & Co refused to accept responsibility or to fix it. Relax & Co never reached out to me directly to try to remedy the problem. If you break something while working on my property, that should be your responsibility to fix. Their workers were fine, but I would not trust this company at the management level to hire them again.

They work pretty fast and have a good eye for detail. They offered all the necessary skills or brought in the necessary skilled labor to get all the facets of the job done they way I wanted it. They also had the experience to help me with some of the tough decisions of the re-modeling. My wife and I are very pleased with the results. I haven't had a lot of experience with general contracting but I would recommend Redlink for a job done they way you want it.
