I never felt that my emotional trauma was taken seriously, and after reviewing my account history,…read moreit is obvious my dental PTSD was indeed ignored and never taken seriously. Things came to a head when I wrote an email to the office manager saying I had an unsettling and chaotic appointment, detailing what transpired. The response I received was shocking and infantilizing. There were many ways she could have responded or even apologized, but instead, my complaint was blamed on my PERSONAL CHALLENGES, yes, she wrote PERSONAL CHALLENGES! She ignored most of what I wrote, like how I was still upset that the last person who took X-rays left me with cuts and sores in my mouth for weeks, how I should not have paid for the X-rays- ZERO acknowledgement of this issue. I waited a few weeks to look at my records because I was still upset from our email exchange but now after reading the notes in my records, I am sick to my stomach. Exact notes including the soooooo and sooo from the person who cleaned my teeth. 6/16/20 -pt soooooo anxious about me cleaning her teeth today, she is sooo afraid of #8 falling out. Not noted, #8 (new tooth) fell out TWO TIMES. Yes, I was a hot mess (still am) with anxiety because of the tooth falling out TWO TIMES. 6/17/21- Patient's anxiety is very irrational due to having had an accident when she was 6 years old. WRONG and inaccurate - I was in the SIXTH grade (not 6 years old), I fell and knocked my teeth out while ice skating. It was during this time that my childhood dentist, Dr. Lucia of Lynn, MA, abused me while under sedation and was eventually arrested for insurance fraud. His shoddy and negligent work led to years of ongoing dental issues, which will continue for the rest of my life. I shared this information. I shared again and again that ANYONE in my mouth causes me anxiety. Even my last note is wrong. 2/29/25- patient NO SHOW. Not noted: 11/12/24 - I left this appointment in tears. I did not make or confirm my next appointment. I was devastated that I had a cracked crown and angry that the dentist did not discuss my gums after having had gum surgery in August. I may not have had a voice when I was in the SIXTH grade, but I have a voice now.

Best periodontist east of the Mississippi! This guy knows his stuff and does excellent work!…read more Really seems like he cares, has a great chair side manner and a great sense of humor. There's a lot of quack periodontist out there. Dr. Kramer is the real deal.

I'm really disappointed with this dental office. Out of nowhere, I received a bill on November 17th…read moreclaiming I owed $98 for a service done 16 months ago. The notice said it was my "final notification before collections" -- yet this was literally the first time I had ever been contacted about it. The office has my email and cell number, and they regularly text me for appointments, but never once sent any email, text, or call about this balance. They said they had mailed letters, but I had moved and had specifically informed the office of my new address, so they knew mailed statements wouldn't reach me. Despite that, they never used any of the contact methods I actually receive. The charge itself was for fluoride, which I never would have agreed to if I had known it wasn't covered by my insurance. It was $98 -- something that could easily be written off considering the circumstances. When I explained everything and asked them to comp it, I was told the staff member "did not have the authority" to adjust the balance. But after I mentioned that I would leave an honest review describing the situation, suddenly she did have the ability to offer 25% off. That made it clear that the earlier "I don't have the authority" line was simply a pressure tactic, not the truth. Overall, the lack of communication, the inaccurate claim that I had received multiple notices, and the sudden shift in what they "could" do once I pushed back all felt really unprofessional. I would recommend being extremely cautious with this office, especially around billing and transparency.

I'm having a really infuriating experience so thought I would share:…read more -May 2021: I get new insurance and call their front desk to make sure they take my insurance. They confirm over the phone that they do - which means $0 charge for my cleaning. -May 2021: After my cleaning, they inform me that they actually don't take my insurance. I email them that they had just told me they did a week ago, and they say: "I'm sorry for any inconvenience or confusion, however Aetna is an Out of Network Dental Insurance Company. Sometimes Insurance Company will cover cleansing at 100 % for Out of Network Providers. We will adjust any payments if the insurance company chooses not to pay as a courtesy. I will Cancel any future appointments. Sorry about that!" -Aug 2022: I get a bill so I call them and explain the whole situation again and the front desk agrees that I shouldn't be billed and they would take care of it ASAP. -Aug 2022: I get another phone call from Polly (the office manager) saying that I must pay and that this is not their problem as it was my responsibility to contact my own insurance to confirm (I guess I shouldn't have trusted their front desk?) and they would be sending my bill to collections. I understand I got a service from them but I only went because they told me it would be no cost under my insurance. Polly insinuates this is my fault for believing their front desk and that she is in charge. Really disappointing experience.
