The existing excellent reviews are well earned. The sale was straightforward and honest. Justin…read morehad the information necessary to make the decision. Stephanie made sure that we saved money through the closing process. Her knowledge of documentation was thorough.Marlon had both mastery and caring in introducing the motorhome, and its functions, together with taking care of small problems which needed to be remedied before we hit the road. The dealership is just a pleasure to deal with. They care. Even though not directly involved, people like Katie stepped up to make sure that the process was thorough and we were completely satisfied.

I say again, because I had already installed a new one. The parts guy, Daniel, was a total gentleman. Very knowledgeable and really nice. I figured there would be NO WAY that they could get me in on short notice, but just inquired with Daniel. He turned and asked Sara, the sweetest service rep ever, if they had any technicians who could look at and get the situation figured out. Seriously, she has the brightest blue eyes and smile. A real pleasure to work with. Luckily they had just received notice of another client canceling their services appointment. She got me right in! What they thought might take a half an hour actually took 3 1/2 but that's OK. It turned out the work I had done was (almost) right, and the real problem was the regulator. I guessed at that, but, wasn't going to try and tackle that on my own. They got it figured out, fixed it and got me on the road! It probably cost me a little more than maybe some other shops, but not much. The service staff and techs are consumate professionals. I appreciate that so much. And as for the cost...... I know the owner donates hundreds of thousands of $$$$ (truly) to some very important organizations and scholarships. So as for this visit, I was not unhappy about the cost. I figure whatever "extra" I might have paid is going to good use. Well paid, long-time employees, and worthy charitable organizations. THANK YOU TRANSWEST!

Paid another shop to remove the roof and Discovered that they actually broke through the roof support during repair and then put plywood on top of the sunken roof and then ground sown the metal support brace and the covered it up and tried to blame it on water damage They have been given every opportunity to show integrity, stand behind their work, and make this right Yet they continue to deny they did anything wrong despite being dishonest and the pictures of the repair not matching the repair that was actually done. This is fraud! Don't do business here!

Universal repaired the fiberglass compartment, painted the compartment and replaced the plumbing components with new pieces and the install looks like it came from the factory. They reinforced the vertical columns with L brackets to add support and sealed the tops of the columns. This one fell through the cracks initially during a facility move from Commerce City, CO to Frederick, Co in their new repair building. Stuart the owner said the initial repair to the plumbing compartment should not have left the shop in that state. He said that they will make the repair right and they did to my complete satisfaction. The repairs to the wheel well on the passenger side was done to their quality standard and the follow up repair to the plumbing compartment and the column fix was also done to my satisfaction. The shop stepped up and went the extra mile to ensure everything was right this time. This repair was a 5* job and I will recommend the shop for your RV needs. Update 3/16/21: Scheduled the plumbing and compartment repair. Reviewing the vertical post repair options to hopefully be completed together. At this point I am satisfied that Universal will perform the work that is up to their quality standard and I will post the final review. Update 3/11/21: Reviewed the plumbing repair job and the vertical post separation with Universal and the insurance estimator. Universal committed to redoing the plumbing and fiberglass repair of the storage unit. Additionally they will repair the post separation in the storage bays. Estimated 7 day repair time, I will update this review upon completion of the job. [ Large job from a double blow out on 30' Class C, lost three tires. Repairs done at the Commerce City location. Major damage to the wheel well on the passenger side. Estimated 10 days to 14 days max to repair as we are full-timers. Job took 32 days and wasn't ready at pickup. After 3 weeks in the shop they told me the passenger side leaf spring was broken and had to be replaced. There were issues with replacing the leaf spring on the driver side, had to cut through the plumbing valves to install the leaf spring. The plumbing job was sloppy and I brought it back two times. I discovered major structural damage from the blow out that wasn't identified in the initial diagnosis. The vertical posts in the storage bays were separated from the flooring and the manager said he didn't know that it was caused by the blow out. I am working with the insurance company to address this issue. I had to pay for an alignment that was covered in the claim because the alignment shop they sent it to could not get the steering wheel straight. Unhappy at this point in the process, I am open to working with the shop to resolve the issues.]

Please avoid this company and all their locations at all costs, they promise you the world until…read moreafter you walk out the door , after that, your treated like you never existed and all of the promises they made and guarantees they made turn out to be false and lies. We paid the extra for the go camping package which include the basics for our motor home IE Hose, poop tube ........ It also included new mattress' and being detailed. When we picked up our used unit it looked good!!!!! Got home and started to load it up and discovered that the pullout sleeper had the old nasty ass mattress still. To top it off they did not detail the coach at all. We found all kinds of garbage and dirty clothes including dirty underwear under the couch and through out the camper. We paid for new mattress' and to have it detailed. I e-mailed 3 times and left numerous voice messages to no avail. This is definitely buyer beware. Please go spend your money elsewhere, if you decide to buy from them do not get any of the up sale crap it's all a lie. Our salesman was JAYME PEITSMEYER. He can email me 5 times a day when he is trying to make his commission, but absolutely ghosted us after the sale. Again BUYER BE-WARE with Camping World in general. And no they do not offer a military discount.

I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering doing business with Camping World…read more I purchased a 2025 camper and owned it for only three months before needing to sell it due to personal reasons. I reached out to Camping World to inquire about selling it back. Over the phone and through email, they offered $21,000 for the camper -- a fair number based on its condition and age. However, when I brought it in for the scheduled inspection, I received a call before the inspection even happened, saying they would only be willing to offer $10,000. That's less than half of what was agreed upon and roughly a third of its original purchase price -- after just 3 months of ownership. This bait-and-switch tactic felt incredibly dishonest and like a deliberate effort to lure me in under false pretenses. It was a complete waste of time, and frankly, felt like a scam. Camping World has lost my trust, and I will not be doing any future business with them. If you're considering buying from or selling to them, think twice. This kind of conduct is unethical and unacceptable in any industry.

Once our situation better aligned with moving forward with a purchase, just for grins, I searched "new" camper vans instead of searching used and I landed on a new 2025 Thor Twist at Mericle that was priced competitively with used models I'd seen. It had 1,200 miles from being driven from the factory in Indiana and was taken to a trade show, but everything Thor was unused and still under warranty. We reached out via their contact us form and was out in touch with Brandon. This is a small, mom and pop dealership-and we love supporting small businesses. Brandon was upfront and very fair. It was up there with the best "car-buying" experiences I've ever had. We corresponded by phone, FaceTime for a video walkthrough of the van and checked everything on the van to make sure everything was in order. They specialize in tow behind trailers, so the van wasn't for their primary audience. After we did our due diligence, we made arrangements to drive from Texas to Colorado to see it in person and to purchase it if everything checked out. And it did. Brandon, DJ and Mike took great care of us, getting us acquainted with all of the systems, researching and fixing a noise on the roof that ended up being some cables for the awning that had broken free of their zip tie before we headed back to Texas. No sales pressure, just genuine, nice people that went above and beyond for even out of state buyers! lol. If you're looking for a place that remembers how to give great service, reach out to them. Thank you Brandon, DJ and Mike Mericle for your patience and attention to all the details.
