We specialize in Trimming, Hot/Cold Shoeing, Corrective & Therapeutic Shoeing, Lameness Assessment & Corrective Treatments, Educating Horse Owners on common hoof problems. We also work with Minis to Drafts, and even Donkeys, Mules & Miniature Goats too. We provide a full service experience as we know that your time too is valuable, so once we earn your trust, we will take care of your Horses on our own, even if you cannot be there due to work, errands, family emergency, etc. as our team will handle your horses while they are being worked on freeing up your valuable time to do other things.

John has been a Certified Professional Farrier since 2001 and serving many great people and their beloved Horses ever since. John believes in constantly keeping up with the must up to date trends, equipment, & best practices for always providing the best care possible for your Horses through his continuous commitment to continued education from various sources.

Meet the Business Owner: John C.

John Capehart is a Certified Professional Farrier and a graduate of the North Carolina School of Horseshoeing & Equine Lameness with an Advanced Certification. John has an extreme passion for Horses having owned many different breeds of them over the years, and has even owned & operated his own Horse Boarding Facility for many years in Southern NJ. John is always wiling to work not only along side you and your concerns, but is also always eager to work along with your Veterinarian, Trainer, and staff to ensure as a team that we are always giving your Horses the best care possible.
