Unfortunately, her visit on April 30 became an emergency as she was on her last pair or two of daily's and was hoping for a quick turnaround. Bottom line, She finally received her prescription from the doctor on July 1, 2020. The "sample pair" of contacts that she was supposed to be wearing this whole time were not able to be picked up until a day or two before this fitting appointment. They put me through 2 different screenings and then with Dr. Rowe, My insurance paid for the visit, but when I got to the counter, I was told that I had to pay $250 for a "Contact Fitting session" appointment and if you don't pay the $250, they will NOT give you a copy of your lens prescription. I told the girl that this was never relayed to me before the visit, of course not, especially if they stand to make that chunk of change. AND then she said the visit would include fitting of disposable lenses which I never indicated I wanted. It made sense though, F you for $250 and then he chooses your lenses, and of course disposables will put more money in his pocket, now that's a WIN WIN for Dr. Rowe! F the patient. Always asks questions and makes you feel comfortable. I have several family and friends that I have referred them there and are current patients now. Small private Clinic. In and out in no time.
