I saw Lauren Burnham APRN. Since it was my first visit, we discussed my history thoroughly. I…read moreappreciate the time she took to listen to my concerns and to make sure I got the tests I needed. I felt seen, heard and cared for. I feel lucky that my primary care provider suggested that I see her. That was almost a year ago and I'll be back for my annual visit in just a few weeks. I have found my person for gynecology care in Lauren.

My annual exam was canceled with no reschedule date. All I received in the mail was a card in the mail canceling my exam. Shortly after, I became my late husband's caregiver until he passed away. Everything for me was put on hold until now. I needed to get back on track. I called the Women's Group to set up an appointment with Dr. Grammer. I was in their system and then was told I would be considered a "new" patient. The lady explained because I hadn't been there in such a long time I was considered new. I explained to her my health concerns, which by the way is clearly listed on their website. She stated, "Honey, we don't handle those kinds of issues, that would be something your primary care physician would handle." I asked her if they treated post menopausal women. She really couldn't answer that question. Honestly, I felt under valued, old and completely disregarded. I think once she heard Medicare that's when she started to put me in the ready for the nursing home box. I don't know if I will ever get the care I need and deserve here in the Gulf Coast, but I certainly won't consider The Women's Group.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Henry Roque and Dr. David White. Luckily my issue resolved,…read morebut if I had to choose between the two I would choose Dr. David White, though both were excellent. For my first appointment, my wait was about 10 minutes. For my second appointment, I waited an hour and 10 minutes. The wait time can be very long, so please keep that in mind. They were also missing important test results that were absolutely sent to them by my OB, because that is how they accepted me -- based on these test results. Luckily, I was able to pull them up on my phone. Make sure they have everything they are supposed to have records wise, and if they don't make sure they get them.

I need to share with everyone with my HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Regional Perinatal Center!!! It was…read moreNIGHTTIME!!! I was on 12th week of pregnancy and was sent by my OB to do screening and measuring my baby. My Dr had some concerns but he said that it's too early for considering something bad...so it was supposed to be regular Ultrasound..When I came over there I met Generic Counselor Amanda H. before US..She told about ALL options they have. AND it was SOOO SCARY!!!You know CVS, Amniocentesis and so on...and I was crying, I was TERRIFIED!!! AND then she said they gonna do AMNIOCENTESIS to me TODAY without warning me!!! And THE MOST IMPORTANT that SHE WAS NOT SURE AND THEY DID NOT DO ANY SCREENING AT THIS POINT AND SHE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT ME!!!Can you imagine how I Felt...By the way, I passed through IVF treatment and just God knows how difficult it was...and after this SHE JUST SCARED ME TO DEATH by saying that my baby can have Generic problem WITHOUT CHECKING ANYTHING!!! Believe it or Not...after screening....they ALL told me...MY BABY IS PERFECT...all measurements was totally NORMAL!!! So I just warn you guys NOT TO LEASTEN AND NOT TO DO EVERYTHING WHAT THEY PUSH YOU!!! Because NOT EVERY WOMAN MUST HAVE THIS PROCEDURES!!!AND you must Know that Amniocentesis and CVS usually can be appointed in very Special cases and after a lot of tests before. AND also they can be harmful to baby...and SHE said that it can cause sometimes miscarriages.. I was DISAPPOINTED and I believe she is unprofessional at all!!!she shouldn't Tell ANYTHING without all checking steps!!! DON'T TRUST EVERYONE!LISTEN TO YOUR HEART and BE SAFE !!!
