He's thourough, personable, and geniuinely listens to the concerns of his patients. I've had nothing but great experiences with the office staff as well. If you are looking for a long-term family physican who isn't just going to throw pills at you to get you out of the office then try them out! They always have quick availability and are able to send your prescriptions electronically. I was really suprised at some of the recent bad reviews(which sound a little fishy, and strangely similar), but from my 10 years of experience in healthcare I can totally understand the occasional irrate, disgruntled patient who doesnt get their way and decides to bash a provider. This isn't the practice to go to if you are looking for a "candy doctor" but it IS a place where you'll find quality healthcare.

After having an MRI of my brain and some bloodwork, my followup appointment with the PA resulted in no diagnosis and no further tests were ordered. Instead I was referred to speech therapy and told to come back in six months. I wasn't satisfied with my treatment so I contacted the University of Alabama Birmingham - who saw me in March 2024. The Dr. suspected ALS and ordered extensive testing including a needle test (which is performed on suspected ALS patients). As a preventative measure, I was prescribed RiluzoIe. After further evaluation and consultation, I was officially diagnosed with bulbar onset ALS in June 2024. If I had followed Emerald Coast Neurology's recommendation, I would have lost a half year of critical treatment. And with ALS, EVERY MINUTE COUNTS.

I was skeptical going into this but boy was I wrong!!! Our first experience was amazing, they listened and asked lots of questions to find out exactly what was going on.
