I saw Lauren Burnham APRN. Since it was my first visit, we discussed my history thoroughly. I appreciate the time she took to listen to my concerns and to make sure I got the tests I needed. I felt seen, heard and cared for. I feel lucky that my primary care provider suggested that I see her. That was almost a year ago and I'll be back for my annual visit in just a few weeks. If you are a female and a senior citizen, please don't consider this practice. Dr. Grammer had been my doctor for many years, until Covid hit. My annual exam was canceled with no reschedule date. All I received in the mail was a card in the mail canceling my exam. Shortly after, I became my late husband's caregiver until he passed away. Everything for me was put on hold until now. I needed to get back on track. I called the Women's Group to set up an appointment with Dr. Grammer. I was in their system and then was told I would be considered a "new" patient. The lady explained because I hadn't been there in such a long time I was considered new. I explained to her my health concerns, which by the way is clearly listed on their website. She stated, "Honey, we don't handle those kinds of issues, that would be something your primary care physician would handle." I asked her if they treated post menopausal women. She really couldn't answer that question. Honestly, I felt under valued, old and completely disregarded. I think once she heard Medicare that's when she started to put me in the ready for the nursing home box. I don't know if I will ever get the care I need and deserve here in the Gulf Coast, but I certainly won't consider The Women's Group. read more

Dishonest, unethical care. Disregard for pt care is the vibe of the entire office experience with a very ignorant, passive aggressive and lazy nursing staff to boot! Medical gaslighting at its finest sums up the quality of care. A blatant disregard for care of the pt or any value to their time or inconvenience as a result of their negligent care. As seen as common theme among other reviews here, delayed needed and necessary care is definitely their anthem! Dr. Stuart and Nurse Brenda are so awesome. They are kind and truely professionals at what they do. I've been a patient of Dr. Stuart since 2017 and would not think of changing providers. Going though menopause is not enjoyabe but they do make it a lot less complicated to understand and even include me in decission making on what's best. Thanks again for all you both do. read more

I felt that this office needed a positive review due to the incident today- Read below; I have seen this doctors office on a few occasions and each time I feel great about my visits. This morning, I was having horrible pain. I called the office and left a message on the nurse line. I received a call within 30 minutes. The nurse who called me was kind, patient and seemed concerned with my issues. She stated she would talk to my doctor and call me back. Not even 5 minutes after hanging up with her, she called back! She had spoken with the doctor, they recommended a course of action, and stated if I needed to, I should come to their office. I did as they said, although I declined going to the office (my issue was biological and really nothing can help it but rest and OTC medications). I received another phone call an hour later asking how I was doing. The nurse wanted to make sure that I was feeling better and reminded me that if I needed to go into the office they would fit me in. What a wonderful group of people! The care they showed me made me feel important and a priority. Thank you for caring and taking your time to be there for a patient! read more

The Women's Group left me without promised and needed healthcare after scheduling an initial prenatal appointment. I have a history of an ectopic pregnancy (I had no serious symptoms that indicated it and it was only discovered via ultrasound). When I started experiencing light bleeding around 5 weeks, I called TWG to see if Dr. Redick could move my appointment up. They said they would not and said that if I experienced severe bleeding or cramps I should just go to the ER. Because of my lack of symptoms from my previous ectopic, I opted to go to the ER to confirm that it was not ectopic. The ER told me it in fact was not ectopic, and they recommended a follow up ultrasound within two weeks. The next morning I talked to TWG about these results. The nurse said that Dr. Redick had reviewed my ultrasound and was recommending that I come in within the week. When I asked the nurse why the doctor was recommending it, she could not answer. I was confused about whether to believe what the ER said or if there was another cause for concern. I also questioned the directive to go to the ER for any care. This was an urgent, but not emergent situation. If I had waited until my 8 week appointment, and it had been ectopic, that might have required surgery rather than medication for treatment. However, the nurse essentially said they were doing me a favor by allowing me to come in for a sooner appointment. I was perhaps a bit argumentative, especially to medically incorrect statements made (the fact they said this might be implantation bleeding or that I would have severe symptoms with an ectopic), but I was respectful and did not yell or curse. The conversation ended in me declining the six week appointment and stating I would look at other options. This was my mistake I will grant. I was frustrated at being told to go to the ER for bleeding (which has been continuous, am I supposed to go to the ER everyday?), that I needed an earlier ultrasound, but also that they were making an exception for me. I didn't know what to believe. However, I did keep my original 8 week appointment. I looked around town, and unfortunately there are very few OB practices in the area. A week after that conversation, because I have been directed to get an ultrasound within two weeks, I called back to see if they would make another appointment for me. When they called me back, they said that not only would Dr. Redick not see me early, that they were canceling my 8 week appointment and barring me from their practice. The nurse who told me this was professional but displayed a complete lack of empathy. When I asked for further information on why this was happening, they only referred to my questioning of their ability to get me in for an urgent situation. The Women's Group should know how challenging it can be to get doctor's appointments in. I have been put in a situation where I cannot get the medical care that the ER said I should receive. They also delayed an entire week in telling me this, at a time for me when the days and weeks matter. I have continued to have concerning symptoms this whole time and that have denied me service when they initially agreed to accept me as a patient. I did call back to try to get clarity on why this was happening and to see if I could speak to the administrator, Debbie Stearns, about potentially switching to another doctor at the practice. The secretary was much nicer and empathetic but after she checked with Mrs. Stearns, reiterated the decision to bar me, without explanation. I requested to talk to Mrs. Stearns, but it seems she is unlikely to be willing to talk to me. I worry that such a dramatic action marks me as an unruly patient. However, I am genuinely confused by this decision. I feel that given my history and higher risk, some concern about a practice's ability to treat me is warranted and questioning that doesn't make me rude or combative. I am simply asking for needed healthcare. TWG has pulled the rug from under me in care they promised me, giving me no recourse. read more

Dr. Prafke was indifferent, uncaring and basically checked out. Dr. Prafke had no interest with my questions regarding birth control options, and was extremely rushed. Dr. Prafke needs to RETIRE. However, her nurse was very nice and helpful. read more

Needed in asap for an urgent visit, got caught up at work with a situation beyond my control and was 10 min late and was given a hard time about that which was not necessary. After check in process before going back was asked for my copay (as I have insurance) and was unable to swing that but could on payday- just two days later but that wouldn't work due to me not having a prior arrangement for this $30 copay. Stated billing me wouldn't be possible, weird seeing as I've been billed this amount any other time and just paid online. So I was turned away for an urgent appt that I needed or else I wouldn't have been squeezed in by a nurse. I didn't even express any urgency when calling initially to make this appt mostly because I know how hectic providers schedules can be this time of year. I was told I needed to speak with a nurse to determine when I need to be scheduled. I do agree that it's fairly urgent especially since I was an established patient but didn't want to be a bother. I was given a couple of options, all within the next couple of days. All for nothing. Just because filing my insurance wasn't enough to hold them over for 2 days for $30. Let's hope my symptoms and/or condition doesn't worsen while I wait for my appt with a new provider. read more

Scheduled an appointment 2 months in advance only to be called 3 days before my appointment to tell me my doctor is not going to be in. Then I was notified that the next available opening was 2 months away from my current appointment. What a waste of time. I had to take time off from my job to schedule my appointment. I just started seeing Dr. Antoinetti here a few months ago. I am expecting my first child and recently moved to the area, requiring me to find a new OBGYN. So far, my experience with Dr. Antonetti and her nurse has been pleasant. I'm a little frustrated with their covid guidelines, however, I understand this is a tough time for all. Having said that, the office staff is pretty terrible, horrible in fact. They're never friendly, rarely helpful, and forget talking to them on the phone- they're condescending and unkind. When trying to run a successful business, no matter what kind, you're only as good as your staff- especially when they're literally the first people to greet (or not) your patients! read more

Came with a friend to check out the practice and see about making an appointment. Empty waiting room ,two people sitting in it, staff refused to even scream me with any questions just told me that I couldn't wait inside because I hadn't been screened. I told them I would answer whatever questions they had but apparently you have to be screened by phone instead of in person. BAD Customer service award goes to their desk staff. I was seeing Dr. Antonetti and I feel that I received the laziest medical care when it came to a condition that I had to push for answers to. After being diagnosed with PCOS, all she wanted to do was throw birth control at me after I had told her several times that I did not want it and was trying to get pregnant. At that point she essentially threw her hands up and told me to let her know when I was ready to have birth control and that was the extent of the assistance I have received. I will be looking for another doctor, for sure. read more

I created this account just to write a review. I will make a formal complaint to the State and will continue to spread the word on this office to hopefully help others! I was seen by Dr. Dina Navarro on 12/11/18. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2016 at my doctors office in another State. I was instructed by my doctor in 2016 to eat healthy, exercise and was given pamphlets on what foods to avoid etc, this doctor was great and I started feeling much better! However, after relocating I needed to find a new doctor. I found this office online and had the worst experience. Dr. Navarro entered the room and was immediately condescending towards me and reluctant to hear anything I had to say. She immediately wanted to prescribe me a high dosage birth control without even examining me, this was her response after learning of my previous diagnosis of PCOS. I expressed my concerns with medicine and when I started to ask questions, I was immediately shut down. Dr. Navarro was very rude when she asked me, "What exactly I was doing to help with my PCOS" I explained to her I ate healthy, exercised and tried to reduce stress. She rudely interrupted me and said, "you still have issues with your cycle, so that doesn't help." She continued to try to persuade me that eating healthy and exercise would not help with my PCOS. Is this who you really want looking after you? Research and studies show that you can reverse or prevent PCOS from getting worse by diet, exercise, yoga, mediation etc. Dr. Navarro seemed to be aggravated when I asked her questions concerning birth control. I went to the office looking for answers regarding my PCOS but seemed to be an issue for Dr. Navarro. I would not recommend this office to anyone. After doing research I have found this is an on going issue for women at this location. I will never be back at this site. read more

Dr. Julia Hoffman is a highly skilled surgeon and a very optimistic doctor. I have been amazed by my quick recovery time. After my surgery, even the nurses in the hospital were impressed by her. Her bedside manner is impeccable. I highly recommend her! read more
