I will admit I was a little apprehensive at first since this place was located in a baby store and me and my brother were older, but the lady (Val) that took our photos was extremely nice and professional. We were able to select from an assortment of really nice prints. On their website, they have a bundle package deal where you can choose an extra photo and get it printed in several sizes for an extra $18.

Melissa is simply great! She not only switched around her schedule to accommodate me, she also checked in with me while I was in the hospital to make sure we were still on track with the picture time( newborn pics are usually taken within 2 weeks of the baby's birth). On the creative end she listened to my ideas and did her hardest to recreate my vision. I wanted lots of colors and a picture created with Diwali(festival of lights) theme in mind. Melissa did not the necessary research and even went to purchase several items to make things happen perfectly. During the day of the shoot she as quick,efficient and truly a baby whisperer. My baby slept through the entire shoot! Her studio is also perfect with the temperature adjust for the baby's comfort. She has diapers, breast pump, baby wipes, hand sanitizers, in short all essentials needed for new moms and babies. She also has a nook for snacks for the parents and outfit options for moms to wear at the shoot. I also got my pictures within 2 weeks which was amazing. Additionally, even after getting the pictures I was not happy with one particular picture and Melissa did her damnest to make it better including offering to retake the pic. Digital or Photocopy charges were different from this. Came across this on Insta ads and to my surprise this JCPPortraits was relatively cheaper but definitely not economical. I would still recommend this place for the photographers and the people here were very dedicated, friendly and knowledgeable. Session fee per person costs $14.99 but found a promo offer which is for limited duration and this offer waived off the Session fees on Thursdays. The session is said to be 15minutes and can be + or - 3 minutes. They have various props and backgrounds at this place! They keep suggesting different poses. The boys here literally rocked! Kudos to them. Once done with the session, the photographer quickly rendered the images (some of them enhanced to an extent), and showed. So they have multiple options like Photo prints, digital copies. Just a heads up, the digital copies are sent through a Shutterfly link! BOTTOMLINE: I would very highly rate this place and recommend as your go to place for family portraits. Tip: Just take the main entrance of JCPenney which is right next to food court and Dillards on the outside. Parking is closer as well from here.
