I have been meaning to write this review for awhile now because businesses like this deserve for…read morethe world to know about their practices. I first landed at John's for an audition taping. He was nothing short of wonderful. He was able to take me pretty last minute and his prices are exceptionally reasonable. Another huge plus was that he understands acting from both in front of the camera and behind it. "What an excellent experience" is what I left saying! Fast Forward I needed head shots and so I took a chance off seeing some of his business cards that he could give me the look I need. Let me say, John has an amazing eye for detail, and my pictures came out wonderful. Seriously, I can't even choose because there are so many perfect shots to choose from. I never felt rushed and he worked with me for hours on hours. I love that he puts no limits on changes, which takes a load off an actor with an agent like mine who has a million request for different looks.

And if you have a family or have worked with one you know the only certainty is some serious unpredictability! But it was all fun and fabulous. Cannot recommend him more - my headshot is outstanding. Had no clue I could look that amazing :)

They do outdoor and indoor photo shoots, and also have a studio set up at their office. This review is for Lin, the makeup artist at Fashion Taipei Studio. She is extremely sweet and has been doing makeup for almost 20 years! She is willing to work with you and can travel if you need her to. She is also affordable! I am Asian and Lin has worked with a ton of Asian women (our features are not the easiest to work with)-- she knows how to do more natural makeup, which is the look I want to go with. She works with another woman for events who does hair. They also have a third person who works part-time on their team that assists with hair and makeup as well. I have not met the other ladies on the team, but Lin seemed to really know what she was doing. She is a woman of many talents-- she also makes cakes as a side business. They offer different types of photography packages according to what you may need-- albums, frames, hair+makeup+photo packages, outfits, etc. I am looking forward to working with her on my upcoming wedding. She and her team will be doing hair and makeup for my bridesmaids. I will update my review after services have been rendered with more feedback!
