If she's in your list of potential photographers, book her NOW! A little backstory: I was a month away from my wedding with no photographer. Beginning to panic, I turned to a friend of mine who is an event coordinator. That ended up being the best decision I made for my wedding, because she sent me to Sarah. A month out and she was perfectly willing to work with me to figure out my photography needs. Sarah is not only a true professional, she is friendly, has a wonderful attitude, and actually makes people feel comfortable in front of a camera! That is truly a gift. Amanda was the main photographer for this event but she specializes in mostly documentary-style family sessions, newborns in the hospital, etc. She definitely did an amazing job capturing wonderful candid shots of all the guests during the charity event and was super pleasant taking shots in front of the step and repeat area. Even though she's not an even photographer, her photos really displayed all the fun we had supporting a great cause during the UMatter Foundation's first annual gala. If you're looking for a documentary series photographer, family portraits or know anyone that is interested in capturing their newborn on film, I highly recommend Amanda of Crane Creek Photography. I appreciated her kind demeanor, positive energy while shooting at the event she worked at and her blog post featuring her work after the charity event to spread awareness of children suffering from Dyslexia. Whitney photographed my family of FIFTEEN at Piedmont Park last spring, and she was incredible…read more First of all, she was flexible with the scheduling. We were trying to coordinate three different household's schedules. We even had to reschedule a couple of times. She was so gracious. We have nine children, ages 6 months to 11 years old, and we also brought along my in-laws. She was so relaxed and laid back, and she made my kids feel so comfortable. Imagine getting all nine kids still and looking in her direction, and smiling on top of that! My kids left that day saying "When are we going to see Ms. Whitney again?" She was that good! I've NEVER had our large family's pictures taken without feeling tons of stress. Our experience with her was the total opposite. We will use her in the future.

She is the calming presence you need on a hectic day. She has ALL the ideas and all the angles to make sure you look your best and have so many pictures to choose from. She parties right with you, your family and your friends on the dance floor to get those super fun, amazing photos that will bring back the most treasured memories of your day. And she'll even do all that with a broken toe. Legitimately, she showed up to our rehearsal dinner/wedding and was on her feet the entire time like nothing was different, all while wearing a boot.
