Best Criminal Defense Lawyer!…read more James Burns has represented my daughter on several cases and was able to get a positive outcome and cases dismissed. I would recommend the James Burns as a lawyer to represent as Criminal Defense Attorney. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, quite patient, very comforting, and exceptionally professional. With his experience and expertise in the criminal law system of FL and specifically the Pensacola/Walton area, he gave me a realistic and honest view of what my daughter would be looking at for her particular situation. He laid everything out for us in a point-blank manner. No sugar coating - which is what is needed when it comes to criminal defense. He provided the best- and worst-case scenarios and I knew from our first meeting that he would do everything in his power to ensure the most positive outcome possible for us. And he delivered! He will work aggressively on your behalf. He assured me during my initial consultations with him that these cases would be dismissed, and they were. I can tell you this, if he tells you not to worry then you do not need to worry. He gives you his personal cell phone number and tells you to call him anytime. He ALWAYS returned my calls and texts. He explained how these cases and the court proceedings would work in language that I could understand and listened, answered, and checked in regularly and explained the importance for a positive outcome. I HIGHLY recommend James Burns. I will say this--before you call the rest--call the BEST--James Burns.

I had a change in my case from changing custody to just modifying the current agreement. My $5,500 retainer was wasted on bullshit. Emails that they "read and analyzed" but never responded too. I requested them to quit working on my case 3 separate times, I was given a phone call twice. It took 5 months for them to just rewrite an already written document. I have reported them to the Bar in Florida and in Alabama for ethics violations.

I called Michles and Booth, because of the ad I heard on the radio about Brian Carter. I thought my issues were so small I never thought Mr. Carter, would talk to me, or that I actually needed a lawyer. But I was wrong. Mr. Carter did sit down with me and talk with about the issues I was having at work, and how I was feeling worried, scared, and frighten about the situation of filing this work comp claim. I was always able to call Mr. Carter, and talk with him, or leave him a message and he would call me back. Or I had the option to talk with his assistant Twanda. She is AMESOME!! She listens, asks questions, talks to you as if you are the most important part of her day. We texted, emailed, and talked on the phone. If need be, she would have Mr. Carter call me back.
