I never knew there was a Joffrey's outside of Disney Springs! I was so surprised to find a standalone shop! They have clean, gender, neutral restrooms, they have water sitting out so that you can help yourself and the coffee is delicious! Our friend got a Cortado and my husband got an iced chai, both were delicious. I love that they have a nice outdoor area that you can go and sit down and enjoy your coffee or you can sit in one of the cozy booths inside. It is pretty narrow coffee shop so it's hard to navigate with strollers, but it's awesome if you go from the outside and sit on the patio. There's street parking where you can park in the garage for free. Employees were nice and friendly!

Finally! A cozy cafe with an ambience like no other place in Tampa! I was so excited to try out…read moretheir coffee. They have unique flavors and blends that are absolutely delicious. The cafe itself was easy to find. Parking lot is large and easy to find. As soon as I walked in, you can sense a feeling of calmness and peace. They played classical piano instrumentals and it honestly gave me the best experience. This says a lot about a place because it's not just good coffee it's also having a quiet clean cafe that's good on the eye. And the music ?- YES ! Now the coffee. I can simply say after traveling all over the world and being incredibly picky with my coffee, Lunar coffee is 10/10 and rated the BEST in Tampa. My go to spot now.

I should have stayed... and soaked up the zen vibes. But I had errands to run, for my third and final Christmas party (I know, in mid January) (!), so I dashed. But this just means I have to go back. Lunar Coffee is in the end unit of a two story building, with a big gorgeous tree out front. It's shady and peaceful- you forget busy 56th Street is right out there. There's a private parking lot with lots of spaces. It's a little tight-and there are lots of businesses that share that lot. Don't let it scare you off. It's worth it. The shop is so clean-with lots of table seating and some high counter seating at the front. There was soothing music on when I was there, on a cool Thursday morning. There were lots of customers but it didn't seem frantic or hectic. It's like everyone just leaves their stress at the door. You feel it sort of roll right off you. I had the most pleasant gal take my order. She was very sweet. I should have asked her more questions about the treats I saw in the glass case and about the menu. I should have taken more time. Now I know better. There's a lot to like here-and I'll be back to enjoy it.

The space is big and super cute inside, making it a great spot to get some work done or just hang out. The staff is really nice, service is quick, and the coffee quality is consistently solid. I also love that they're always rotating in new syrups and seasonal flavors, so there's always something new to try. I honestly went back and forth on whether I needed to update this review, because there's a lot to love about this place. The quality of the food and coffee is consistently great, and the space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. That said, I still can't give it 5 stars due to service gaps. There isn't a designated person clearing or wiping tables, so when you're lucky enough to get one, you have to track down someone behind the counter ~ usually in the middle of cashiering or making drinks ~ to ask for it to be cleaned. Also, every single time food is brought out, utensils are never included. I truly like this place and it remains one of my regular spots for breakfast or brunch, and I'll continue coming back. I just hope the owners read these reviews and take this feedback to heart, because with small service improvements, this place could easily be a 5-star experience.

Customer service was good but they accidentally skipped me in line. No worries, the cashier was super sweet and took my order. I decided to try the peanut butter mousse dessert with an Oreo crust. I was a bit hesitant on the price as it was $7 but let me tell that it was WORTH IT!!! My husband isn't a desserts kind of guy but he loves peanut butter and he and I finished it in less than 10 minutes! He said it's one of the best desserts he's ever eaten. I don't know how they did it but the textures all went together pleasantly. You have the rich peanut butter mousse covered in decadent chocolate and then finished off with a delicious Oreo crust. It wasn't super sweet either, which we really loved and appreciated. The dessert tasted just as great as it looked! I loved the elegant chocolate seal on top too. My friend got the ding dong dessert (think of hostess cake) and she was so mad (in a good way) that the $7 was justified. Overall, I would come back and try other desserts. Although pricey, it was well worth the price tag.
