Next day they call and state they have completed the requested task PLUS added new thermal grease. When brought home, the laptop was just as noisy and on closer inspection by an adult, it was determined fan blades were STILL DIRTY. Brought it to another tech outfit, who determined the fans had not been cleaned nor did it appear the laptop had been taken apart by finding dog hair inside.
