We had been going to a kid friendly place before but…read moreI wanted a cut for him that didn't look like it was a quick 15 minute cut that was uneven at times. Andrew was the guy who gave my son his haircut and he did not disappoint. He checked in with us at every step to make sure we got what we were looking for in a haircut. The place was very welcoming and clean. My son hates getting haircuts and cries when he has to get one, but he was actually calm and smiling while getting his haircut today, for once he enjoyed the experience. We will be a returning customer.

Service was excellent by Andrew, he seemed professional and quick, however, there were other men at…read morea different barbers station who were talking to him while he worked on a client as well (tall guy with glasses). Not sure if they were friends or other clients, but their language was FOUL. I normally wouldn't mind but my two year old was watching them yell back and forth at each other, cussing like crazy. It was so uncomfortable and it's like they didn't care that there was a small child in their presence. Definitely not family oriented. I loved Andrew's service but not sure if I'll return if this is the atmosphere they always have.

We have…read morealways been walk ins but during the week between 5 and 6 you may want to have an appointment as they tend to get busy. There is one barber who speaks English well so I always have a picture of what we want done just in case. They take cash or Zelle but if you Zelle make sure you have a cash tip. They are quick but they do a great job!

Against my better judgment, I decided to give them a shot since Caesar's is closed for Chinese New Year. That was a mistake. Here is why I won't be back: Dishonesty about Skill: I asked three separate times if the barber could do a flat top. He aggravatedly said he could. After a long, painful process, I walked out with a basic crew cut. If you can't do a specific style, just say so. Dull Equipment: It felt like his scissors and electric cutters haven't been sharpened in years. My hair was being pulled and yanked the entire time. It was incredibly uncomfortable. Here is a the weirdest part, you have to lean out of the chair, face-down into a sink for the shampoo. His assistant uses Dove bar soap on your head while alternating between ice-cold and scalding-hot water that runs straight up your nose, since you are face down. After charging $25 for the cut he clearly didnt deliver on, he actually asks for a tip...well, he said, "what? No tip?" I only have myself to blame for trusting him, but take my advice: if you value your hair (and dont like your hair pulled or your nose being flooded with hand soap), wait for your regular barber to get back or go literally anywhere else.
