These guys are absolutely on the level. Small mom & pop operations like this are far more likely to do good work and I don't think I have ever met anyone that has delivered more than Joe. I got a 2001 Chevy S10 with 93k miles on it a year before. Starting a new career in IT contracting, I figured it'd be a good idea to get my beloved little rustbucket looked at. This thing was, not just abused, but neglected for several years. Joe found every last problem with the motor. The sheer scope of issues with it that Joe managed to find and repair is insane. Thank goodness I had a nest egg saved up just for such an occasion. They invited me right over to the lift to see the problems with my own eyes. When I turned the truck in the next day, they were even kind enough to drive me home since I lived in Bellevue. Not just that, but when the truck was finally done after discovering even more issues (namely a timing chain so loose it's a wonder the truck ran at all, with the valves a full eighth of a rotation behind the crankshaft) and repairing them. It was held back for another day due to starting issues traced back to the timing sensor, something he insisted on eating the cost of due to how long it's been in service (about a week). After that they were happy to pick me up. The truck since then has been running like an absolute dream. I've driven 450 miles in the span of 3 days working all across Western Iowa/Eastern Nebraska, about a hundred miles out from the Omaha Metro at max. I cannot thank them enough for their incredible quality of service, mechanical and customer. I will not trust any other mechanic until I'm forced to stop going to Joe's. read more

What a great shop Joe has going! In short, I have never had a mechanic or dealership that communicated as clearly or as much as Joe did. I brought in a car where the air conditioning only worked when it was not hot outside. The dealership blew me off, but luckily I found Joe! Joe's shop far exceeded my expectations. Not only was I greeted promptly, but they even answered all my questions pertaining to my situation without rushing me out to door. I was called for permission to conduct repairs and all repairs were completed same day. I needed my rear differential serviced and both Joe and his wife- who's name escapes me- were EXTREMELY knowledgeable what the problem was and how to fix it. A similar service from the Dodge dealership would've cost me much much more. Upon picking up my truck, they both showed me the damaged parts they replaced, giving me the peace of mind the job was actually completed. I cannot say enough good things about this place. After receiving a vague diagnosis and a $2500 repair estimate from the dealer, my husband and I were looking for a second opinion. Because the issue was with the electronics, every other place we called wouldn't touch it (or wouldn't be any cheaper). Not only did Joe give us an appt for the next day, but he found the ACTUAL problem (not just saying the whole wiring harness needed to be replaced like we were originally told) and fixed it for less than $150!! I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviews saying he won't take advantage of you. They really went above and beyond with customer service, too. I seriously do not know where all the good reviews come from. My son made the mistake of filling his tank with diesel instead of gasoline. After reading the reviews, I had his car towed there. He told me that it would cost $1,200, which my insurance would not pay. He showed me a glass of anti-freeze and had the nerve to tell me that was the diesel in the gas tank. Finally, I told him I would pay the $1,200 out of pocket, and he then told me the price would be $2,400 because he had to replace the fuel injectors. That was the final straw. I took it to another mechanic, who drained the diesel, cleaned the fuel pump and fuel injectors, for much, much less than what Joe was asking for. No, the fuel pump and fuel injectors did NOT need to be replaced like Joe said. The car works fine now. Will never, ever go there again because he tried to rip me off. read more

I really appreciate this place. Went for a car check up and my car got a clean bill of health minus the screw in the tire which they patched for a reasonable price. They have reasonable prices and if they can't fix it they are honest about it and can often refer you to who can. I came across Joe's a couple years ago when I got charged 1200 for something with my car that wasn't even the problem, I called looking for advice He gave me upfront, honest, truthful options and the problem only cost me 60 dollars plus the part. This is a small Mom and Pop shop with personalize service. I found them on Yelp and contacted them after business hours. They responded back with answers and instructions. I dropped my car off sunday night and they called back by lunch the next day with answers. I let them fix it and they went above and beyond. The work was done correctly and timely, they even fixed a couple minor things that needed taking care of. When I picked up the car they explained everything that was done and even showed me the old parts and how it all work. I had the AC compressor replaced on a 1998 Infinity QX4. I think I could have got it done cheaper, but not to the level of service that I received. Should I have any other auto repair needs on this vehicle I would go back. read more
