I had a very positive experience with my realtor Charlotte Simmons. A friend of mine must have gave…read moreher my number because at the time of house hunting I was doing it solo and I received a random text from her and the rest is history. We met and discussed what I was looking for in a home. Single, never married, no kids with decent income gave me lots of options with my good credit score in a tough post covid market. She made a point early on that there are people out here looking at the same homes who have been searching for many months if not years and it is important when putting in an offer to stand out. We searched homes of various price ranges, conditions, locations ranging in the 413 / northern ct. and ones with multiple offers. Each home we looked at I learned something new as she explained what to look for that could be trouble down the line. My home is exactly what I was looking for. Although not on a body of water like a lake or in a wooded area, I made those sacrifices and put in one hell of an offer to purchases home I can proudly say is mine. I purchased my home June of 2023. Charlotte to this day still reaches out to see how I am doing and how the house is coming along by phone and by mail. I still use her welcome to your new home gift basket often and remind myself of the wisdom she has taught me to maintain the little things. I would highly recommend giving Charlotte a try if you are looking for a realtor and or looking for a new one.

We started the process involved in obtaining a mortgage. In the process, Ketil asked if I had an agent assisting me. So when I responded no, he introduced me Linda Johnson of Reimax in West Hartford. I must say here that, these two experts proved wrong all the horror stories I've heard about mortgage brokers and real estate agent. If nothing at all, they made the process enjoyable. Even though Ketil had transferred to a different mortgage company during the process, he remained with me until the closing. As for Linda Johnson, she is the perfect lady professional. Being a first time home buyer, I must say I went through the process with ease I will therefore not hesitate to recommend any or both of them as (1) mortgage processor and (2) real estate agent.
