Since then I started with Dr He's help, cancer specialist for treatment. At that time my mother's condition was very serious, almost stopped the treatment, but he patiently channeled my mother, and for my mother through the night to develop a detailed treatment plan, with superb medical skills saved my mother. I use Yelp quite often, I just happened to see the Yelp ratings for doctor He. I don't understand and cannot agree with. As for the Insurance issue, as the reviewer mentioned above, what happened to us is that my mom was in a critical condition, proliferation of cancer cells in the body every day, what viable treatment plan in the shortage of drugs is very expensive drugs, the Health First insurance my mom has is under the complicated application process. Dr. He worried, decisive drugs borrowed from elsewhere for use by my mother, so that my mother started treatment within the shortest time. Now whenever we think about it, when my mother was about to give up treatment, if there were Dr. He's superb medical skills and noble personality, I can't imagine what it would become. It's been 5 years since my mother found cancer, she's now under stable condition, can also travel abroad each year. What the doctor gave us is a miracle.

The nurse there took my blood pressure and asked very personal questions regarding my health conditions in the waiting room in front of other patients and people waiting for patients ( I'm sure that violates some kind of HIPPA laws ) and to top it all off they only accept cash and don't do their job to check with your insurance if your deductible is met before starting any treatment. I'm out $530 and they still expect me to pay $150 every time I go in to finish my IV treatment ( have 3 more to go ) despite confirming with my insurance that my deductible is met. This office is unbelievably money hungry which is no surprise every medical office is a business at the end of the day but it seems like every single person that works there ( nurses and medical assistants included ) lack bed side manner and empathy and are just there for a paycheck. I refuse to ever step foot in there ever again unless it's for my refund from when my deductible was met.

His medical assistants Bessie and Ellie are both very nice and helpful and the office is in a nice quiet location. I definitely recommend Dr. Tsioulias for anyone looking for a dedicated patient-friendly doctor with a lot of experience and very helpful medical assistants.

Before I arrived, she called to say the doctor was running 30 minutes late and moved my appointment from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. However, when I arrived at 6:00 p.m., there were at least 12 people waiting ahead of me in the waiting room! Clearly, the doctor was much more than 30 minutes behind schedule. I decided to reschedule rather than wait for what could have been hours. I found this extremely disrespectful of patients' time. It is unprofessional to schedule so many patients, move appointments due to delays, and still have a waiting room packed with people. The entire experience was poorly organized and frustrating.

I mainly interact with the nurses who draw my blood and give me bimonthly iron IVs. The nurses are patient and kind and when they draw blood, it barely stings. In fact, sometimes I'm able to take a nice nap when I came for my iron IVs. They opened up a separate room, which sped up the process a bit. The wait is 5-10 minutes and the iron packet takes 20 minutes to drip. The wait for the doctor is a bit longer, maybe around 30 minutes, but not mandated for every visit.

He hung up on me and then lied on patient portal that I hung up on him, also saying "he hoped I would call back". So unprofessional! No one reached out to me on complete report. No arrangement for continuity of care was arranged -- this is abandonment and a suable offense. I was just left hanging. Dr. Barry Kaplan is no better. They are not human at Queens Medical Associates. It's just a cancer treatment factory that is archaic and only cares about their bottom line profit. Swaika all you had to do is apologize but instead you have HURT me and caused me inordinate stress on top of all the hurt others in the medical profession have caused me. You BETTER PRAY that no medical harm has come to me from leaving me hanging! Be careful not to pull this shit on anyone again, because they may not be as nice as me.
