Before moving to Houston, my NY endocrinologist referred me to Dr. Steven Petak (another wonderful Houston endocrinologist), who then referred me to Dr. Donovan for my surgery. Dr. Donovan was very caring and informative regarding the surgery -- explained everything. Though he is an expert at what he does, he has no airs about him; no arrogance than can turn off a patient. He is very compassionate and genuinely concerned about your well being. Dr. Donovan did an awesome job on my surgery; barely leaving a scar which he promised he would do. I have since returned to the East Coast and still doing well. My delayed thanks and gratitude again to Dr. Donovan for his wonderful care. And to quote another Yelper, "He is one of the best Baylor College of Medicine has to offer."
