Me and my best friends have been going to Dr. G aka Dr. Elizabeth for years and I can't believe I haven't written a review until now. Dr. E is an ARTIST! She studies your face and just knows how to enhance your natural beauty. She takes her time, doesn't rush and won't do anything just to make money. Not to mention she treats you like family. Dr. E loves what she does and loves her patients and it shows in all ways! Every time I leave her chair not only do I feel beautiful but I feel like I just left a family members home. I'm naturally an anxious person and she makes me feel so calm; I trust her implicitly. I love you Dr. E!!! read more

I can't believe it has taken me this long to leave a review! Dr. Elizabeth has helped me after a health issue impacted me in a way that I needed help. It was several years ago and I am still thankful for her artistic talent, empathy, and empowering mission to make me feel natural and restored. Natural beauty and the best of the best. She made my life better. Sending love! Hope you all are well! AB read more

NYC's angel with a syringe Backstory: Before visiting her, I'd only gotten cheek filler with a well renowned plastic surgeon in my hometown (Miami). I ALWAYS wanted cheek bones so sharp they could slice a loaf of bread. Happy with the results and more confident, I was open to injecting other areas. But because I wasn't UNhappy with any specific area in the way I was with my pancake cheeks, I had no clue what to ask for. What if I requested injections along my jaw and left looking like an Amazon box full of regret?? I was terrified to mess with my face when I wasn't miserable with it. I wanted enhancements that would maintain a natural look. SO!!!!! If you're in a similar position (open to getting injections but NO clue what to even ask for), GO TO DR. G!! Review: She studies your facial features, face shape, and listens to what your goal is as soon as you sit in her chair. She'll circle you and study how light/shadows show on certain areas and use her knowledge of the products to make recommendations that work FOR you. I'm sure more happens in that incredible mind of hers. She isn't intimidating. She really is a doctor for her patients -- valuing their care, safety, and happiness. I felt comfortable as soon as I sat in her chair and was offered a peppermint patty. I was able to say I had no clue what I want to do to my face and comfortably express what I was hoping to achieve. She's a doctor with artistry who works with you. Keep in mind her appointments tend to last long -- not a complaint but a note if you have a strict schedule. She isn't a machine rushing you out for the next client. She really tailors her work to best fit you while ensuring you understand her recommendations. She just really cares and is very good at what she does. I cannot recommend her enough. She's a lovely person with impeccable skill, great bedside manner and so much intelligence in her field. Again, the SKILL!!! If you're looking for a sign, just go. Book the appointment. read more

this is THE best Botox experience I've ever had. Elena spent so much time giving me great feedback on what I can potentially do as a treatment plan without being pushy, and did an expert job with my Botox in a way that I've never experienced in almost 10 years of getting Botox! They have a Customer for life, I'm so pleased I found Joel Beauty! read more

I have had the privilege of knowing Dr. Nevin Gokalp for over 20 years in various capacities: first as a doctor working on a legal case for the firm I was at, then as her patient, and finally as someone who witnessed her save my aunt's life. She is an exceptional doctor with an artistic touch and a perfectionist's eye, treating every patient as a masterpiece to enhance rather than change. Dr. Nevin performed breast augmentation for me after the birth of my first daughter in 2000, when one breast was left significantly smaller than the other. I had always been terrified of breast implants because I didn't want the unnatural "hard ball" look. Dr. Nevin reassured me, saying, "Don't worry, I will make you feel whole"--and she delivered! I ended up with the most beautiful, symmetrical teardrop-shaped breasts, a small C-cup that looked completely natural. No one could ever tell I had implants. Despite the common belief that implants need replacing every 10 years, mine stayed perfect for over two decades, through the birth of my second daughter in 2008 and all the way to 2021. Unfortunately, I developed capsular contracture, which caused pain and discomfort, and I needed to replace them. Living far from New York, I was devastated because I didn't trust anyone else to achieve the same incredible results. Naturally, I called Dr. Nevin, and once again, she gave me the perfect outcome. Dr. Nevin is not just a gifted plastic surgeon but also someone with a heart of gold. I have to share how she saved my aunt's life. My aunt had gone to an unqualified individual who botched her procedures and left her riddled with infections from her breasts to her tummy tuck. Most plastic surgeons refuse to correct another doctor's mistakes due to liability risks, but Dr. Nevin's compassion and loyalty to me led her to step in. She visited my aunt in the hospital and performed a miraculous transformation. Today, my aunt is alive and thriving, with a perfect belly button, clean incisions, and beautifully restored breasts--all thanks to Dr. Nevin. In November 2024, I saw Dr. Nevin again for some work on my face. I trusted her completely, and the results were stunning--I looked like myself again! Her expertise and artistry are unmatched, and her warm personality is simply infectious. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Nevin Gokalp to anyone looking to enhance their appearance while maintaining their natural beauty. Book a consultation--once you meet her, you'll fall in love with her just like I did. Today, I don't call her Dr. Nevin; she's simply Nevin--my friend and my family, as I'm sure many of her patients feel too. read more

The Dr. was very knowledgeable. I Felt very comfortable and felt that the Dr. addressed my concerns.

Highly skilled doctor and medical aesthetic injector. Took the time to go over all my questions/concerns and gave me a very natural beautiful result. Highly recommend! read more

Dr G is hands down the best! I sent my girlfriend to her after many recommendations from my clients and she did not disappoint. It was my besties wedding rehearsal dinner and she hadn't seen many of her relatives in years. Her mom was coming in from Italy. Dr G... took her time, assesed, and looked, calculated, assessed some more. That's the thing about her... this isn't a rush them in, churn and burn med spa (i.e.body factory). She's an actual world class plastic surgeon who will refresh you and make you look amazing. My besties own mom and soon to be husband thought she had a wonderful day at a spa. That's what good work should be! read more

After my long trip back from Iceland, I decided I needed to take better care of my skin. I have incredibly reactive skin. I have had almost every issue diagnosable and some undiagnosable, chronic issues and temporary rashes, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, allergic reactions - you name it. Needless to say, I've gotten plenty of facials, so I wanted to try something different. I made an appointment with Dr. Elizabeth and went in for my botox consultation. Professional and courteous are the words that come to mind when I think back at my experience at Joel. She was very patient with me and walked me through the process. She answered all of my concerns and always made sure that I was comfortable. She will not pressure you to buy procedures you don't need. I trust Dr. Elizabeth with my face, and I go in now regularly. The results are near perfection and I get compliments on my skin all the time. The office is clean. The prices are definitely competitive. I highly recommend Joel - you are in good hands! read more

I waited to write a review because I wanted to reflect on everything that happened at Joel Beauty. I had never had fillers or botox before, so I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Elizabeth to discuss undereye fillers. She was friendly and polite, but looking back, I realize how unethical she was. Dr. Elizabeth is a board-certified plastic surgeon with many years of experience, which is what drew me to Joel Beauty in the first place. However, I don't think it is appropriate for a doctor (or anyone) to point out everything she deems wrong with someone's face. After I told Dr. Elizabeth I was interested in undereye fillers, she carefully examined my face from all angles. Then she started to list all my "flaws" and describe how she would "fix" them. She seems to want everyone's faces to follow a certain white-washed standard of beauty instead of celebrating people's diversity and ethnic backgrounds. It is one thing for a doctor to give their professional opinion on whether a procedure is right or not for someone (i.e., if the undereye fillers I was interested in were appropriate for me). It is a whole other thing for her to criticize the shape of my eyes, forehead, cheeks, etc., and suggest ways to make my face more "pleasant." She prides herself on knowing what is best for her clients/patients, telling me a story of a surgical patient who had not given consent to liposuction. Still, Dr. Elizabeth decided to do it anyway while performing another procedure and bragged about it to me during my consultation. There were so many red flags during my interaction with Dr. Elizabeth that I'm shocked I didn't get up and leave. I caution anyone considering Joel Beauty to stay away. Dr. Elizabeth has a way of talking to her patients like she is their best friend and has their best interests in mind, but that is just a technique to manipulate clients and upsell more procedures and more injections. You should also be aware of the cost. I had a migraine, and she suggested botox injections around my forehead, neck, and shoulders. She kept saying she was using just "a little bit" and then presented me with a $2,200 bill. read more

Dr G is the best! Hands down! She won't tell you... but her celebrity clients outweigh her regular roster. She's a perfectionist, methodical and incredibly well worth it read more

A fantastic experience! I came in from seeing a deal on Botox, and left having not only Botox, but also cheek fillers, which I have desperately needed for so many years. Dr. Gokalp REALLY takes her time and deeply considers what she thinks would benefit your face and have long lasting effects, rather than just sticking filler into a hole (like everyone does in London, where I normally do Botox, and have considered fillers for some time due to deep bags/tear troughs). She really was spot on about a few things that might be bigger issues for me down the road, and I feel like I look 20 years old again (nearly 40)! Thanks so much. read more

These guys hustle their clients. Dishonest crooks that will present you with a bill that is 2x what you will pay if you go elsewhere because they do unnecessary procedures and also overstate how much material they used. read more

You know how some Groupons are just about the deal but you'd never go back? Joel Beauty is the polar opposite. Not only was this the best Groupon experience I've ever had, I'll definitely be a regular customer moving forward. Booking was seamless and they actually went above and beyond to accommodate me same day. I saw Elena and she was knowledgeable, patient, calming, meticulous, and above all, she truly cared and took her time (a rarity today). I'm loving the results and will definitely be back to this gem. read more

I've been to Dr. Gokalp a number of times now, and I always leave feeling great. She truly takes her time with each patient, you never feel rushed or pushed into anything. And the finished result is invariably impressive - Dr. Gokalp is an artist! She suggests details that I had not thought of. I last went in for botox and filler in my face. She noticed that my should muscles were bulking up, causing my neck to look shorter. She even makes my neck look longer and thinner with botox - what a difference! read more

Dr. Elizabeth is AMAZING. I am so grateful to have found Joel Beauty - Dr. Elizabeth is a trained plastic surgeon and took her time to recommend a plan of action for my issues. I arrived looking tired, and uncertain of how I could lift my spirits and feel better about myself. Her kindness and love for her patients shows on everything she does. After several hours of consultation and treatment, I could not believe what I saw - tears ran down my face when I saw the reflection in the mirror of the amazing work she did. I looked 10 years younger, and my spirit and self confidence was immediately lifted at the sight of what she had accomplished. Thank you Dr. Elizabeth you will forever be my doctor and my friend. read more

I had been wanted to get my lip fillers for years but was always too scared to try it because of the pain. I finally decided to try it and Dr. Elizabeth spent so much time discussing it with me and calmed me down. I love the results and which I had done it earlier. I did have a bruise for over week (which I was told may happen) but I would definitely have it done again. Dr. Elizabeth doesn't over sell and my results look natural. Dr. Elizabeth definitely is a 5 star Dr. and the only reason I didn't give the procedure wasn't perfect was because of the deep bruise, although I do understand that it happens frequently. I will be going back to Dr. Elizabeth for other procedures as well. She has a way of making people feel very comfortable and it was a great experience. read more

I had a phenomenal experience with both Sara and Dr. Elizabeth during my recent visit. This isn't a cold, impersonal medical office -- I felt welcomed like a friend from the moment I arrived and was well taken care of throughout my appointment. Dr. Elizabeth is intuitive in both her work and her observations on life. I liked how she explained why injections in certain places weren't a good idea, and her expert eye yielded results that look natural. I'm grateful I found a doc I can trust! read more

Dr. Gokalp is a true artist. She addresses asymmetries amd refines beauty. She truly redefines what injectable's can do.

I saw Dr. Elizabeth for a Botox treatment and I'm very pleased with my experience. She was very informative and she did an amazing job with my injections. As time goes by we tend to see a few creases here and there, due to constantly working on my computer noticed a not so cool crease in between my eyebrow that was bothering me for sometime. I asked a friend if she knew of someone she may referred me, she mentioned she knew this talented artistic doctor, couldn't be more then happy to have found her. Dr. Elizabeth is such a warm, charismatic physician. Took care of my needs in such a professional warm way. Highly recommend to all my friends to take care of your aesthetic needs. read more

I went to Joel Beauty to get botox for my first time a couple of years ago and have not gone anywhere else ever since. Dr. Elizabeth is the absolute best and most trustworthy doctor in the game. I recently went for a pre-wedding refresh and got fillers for my first time. I was extremely nervous as I did not want it to be obvious that I got fillers and did not want to look fake, but Dr. Elizabeth assured me she would do the best job and made me feel calm and relaxed. I could not be any happier with the results and have been getting compliments left and right. I love this place and can't wait to keep coming here! read more

This was my first time getting Botox and was a bit nervous. The receptionist welcomed me warmly and I was seen right away. I saw Hannah, who made me feel so comfortable from the start. I was self conscious about a few areas on my face and she listened to my concerns without any judgment and told me how she could address it. She used special techniques that are extremely natural and subtle, but I already see a huge difference and it's only been two days! Hannah is kind, attentive and skilled and took time to answer all my questions and put me at ease. Definitely recommend Hanna and Joel Beauty - thank you! read more

I've been seeing Doctor Elizabeth for over a year now and this review is way overdue. I have been to Joel Beaty multiple times and have multiple things done by Dr. Elizabeth: lips, cheeks, jawline,-all with very natural results. She was even able to correct some issues that were caused by previous injectors, that I thought were unfixable at this point, so I'm extremely happy about that! She's very nice and knowledgeable, and is probably one of the best injectors out there, and a true artist. I am very happy to have found her. Each visit, she spends time to listen to my needs and to work on my face. I never feel rushed like I did when I used to go to other Dr's offices.
