There's nothing worse than not having a trusted mechanic in your life. So, I happened to be talking to a friend and he recommended Tom & Jack's. I said, what do you like about them, and the first word out of his mouth was, integrity! That was all I needed to hear. So Wednesday I drove by and talked to Jack who told me to come in on Friday morning. So I arrived right when they opened, and told Jack what my car needed, and he said he would check it out and get back to me with his results and an estimate. 90 minutes later, I got my call, and everything sounded good to me, so I told Jack to proceed. By 2:30, I got the call that my car was ready and for me to come and pick it up. Jack changed my oil, all filters, spark plugs, transmission fluid and radiator fluid and gave my car a complete brake job including new rotors and rotated the tires. You must understand that the car did need all of those things, which is why I brought it in. Jack was completely up front with everything without pushing or trying to make a sale. End result: I'm thoroughly pleased. Jack was a pleasure to deal with. I felt very comfortable with him, the work was top notch and the price was very fair. I have found my new mechanic! Thanks Jack!

Went to get car and charged $100 for a bogus assessment. Whack job outfit. Took the car to another mechanic and they said "rust, what car In this area isn't rusty! The brakes are fine!" Pads replaced and repair was quick and well under the shady jokers inflated estimate. Now, should the BAR be made aware of no paper invoice estimate given out? Considering the options.
