I'm not sure why they call it 3 Day Blinds as it took almost two weeks for the blinds to be ready for the installation appointment, but they were worth the wait. They look better than I expected, both window blinds and a set of verticals for a slider. The installer guy was super nice and helpful (and fast!). Easy experience. Price seemed reasonable. I would recommend.

Worst. Experience. Ever.... There's no way I'd use them again. A design consultant came to the…read morehouse, measured, and we decided on an order that would be installed within six days - which was an important deadline for us, which we made very clear, and for which we paid extra (for "express install"). We paid a 50% downpayment at that time. The scheduled installment day came and went with no contact from 3 Day Blinds. Our follow-ups received brief, superficial responses and then no responses. I spent a LOT of time trying to talk to a human (which was difficult) to figure this out, and eventually (a week after the promised installation date) talked to someone who promised that a manager would call back within 48 hours. No one called. So I called again and was told that the order's due date was in 2 1/2 months!! So it went from six days to 2.5 months, and I only found this out by spending hours trying to get information. So frustrating, and so unprofessional. The only positive was that they agreed to cancel the order (after completely messing it up) and the refund went through relatively quickly.

Faitell Attractions - Beautiful!

Faitell Attractions, opened during the pandemic, is a REVELATION…read more The only reason I stumbled across the store was my passion for coconut frozen yogurt, which Yogurtland currently sells (along with pistachio). Parking in a garage downtown for a frozen yogurt irks me so I rarely go. I passed this consignment and the moment I entered, my eyes grew big. It's mostly furniture---a mix of mid-century modern and other classic pieces--but also one of the best designer resales I've seen in the back. Every bench, piece of art, chair gorgeous. You just have to go in to appreciate the extraordinary taste of Lisa Faitell, who moved to SB from Westchester County (a tiny town my dear friend lives and I just spent three nights). It's a mother-daughter operation, which I love. They also do custom window treatments and you can arrange for delivery. In the hour I spent, a woman in Laurel Canyon bought a large bright aqua sectional couch. I love absolutely everything. Note: the clothing runs small. Best if you are a size 2, 4, or 6. I love that a New Yorker opened this store--in a pandemic no less. New Yorkers have grit and chutzpah, always rising to the challenge in the most fraught conditions. I bought a dress (48 dollars) and an incredible long sweater-jacket with pattern (50). Wearing the dress to the Granada Saturday, my first time since 2014 before I moved to the city. If you're downtown, you must go in. It's impossible not to come away with a treasure. I went in to look for plant stands and found an outdoor set for 50 they only sell as a pair. I might have to go get it, though I really only need one.

I had no idea that they were based in SB. I'm very impressed with the high quality samples they provide. The measuring guy and their on site designer came out for the initial consult. I had no idea that my windows were not symmetrical until they informed me. They were very careful with measurements. It took the measuring guy a very long time to measure each window. Cons: very expensive. For my 46" window, each shade cost $1,000. For 4 windows...well, you do the math. This is after using their discount code. They took the time to measure my other windows in the space, but lost the measurements in the system, then, told me they didn't measure, then ghosted me. I didn't get a chance to order all the shades I needed. They required full payment up front, but then, they revealed that they didn't have the product, and only told me this after I coughed up the cash; so the product took a much longer time to order and install, leaving me nervous, wondering if I would ever get my blinds. I felt that I was their financial float and was forced to pay for a product before I even knew if it was legit. Overall, it was worth the frustrations, the long wait, and the miscommunications, because in the end, I love my unique, high end shades. I want to possibly use this company for other spaces in the home, after I complete the remodel, however, this time, I'll be prepared and will know what to expect.

However, when I had several more to have done, and it was a much bigger job, I asked about how much of a deposit I'd have to put down. I was told I had to pay in FULL for the shades at the time of order. I ended up calling other companies and found a company that asked for a 50percent deposit instead of paying the entire price up front.
