They've got everything from jeans to hats, dresses to jewellery, and their prices are comparable to Banana Republic and Club Monaco. Plus they use recyclable bags, which is a nice touch, unlike their competitors who continue to use plastic. I ended up leaving the store with a super cute pair of jeans in hand, along with the environmentally friendly bag, of course! It is a family run business, and it is clear that they are passionate and proud of what they do. Their store is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful clothing. Their knowledge is exceptional. Their friendliness is out of this world. And *genuine*. I left their store wide-eyed and speechless. Being self-employed myself, I am often frustrated at the poor customer care received these days. The staff at Formans blew my mind. My fiance and his men look stunning. They have all said nothing but amazing things about Formans. They truly treat you like family. Unfortunately I had an accident a few weeks ago that leave me with a injuries and deformities that will still be evident on my wedding day. One of their employees at the back ended up helping us out - Jordan - who was knowledgeable and helpful in finding the appropriate shirt for my guy. My husband wanted the sleeves of his short shortened and they have an in house tailor so Jordan measured up my husband and informed us the tailoring should be done the next day. When we returned the next afternoon unfortunately it still wasn't ready (we had driven back into Calgary from Banff just to pick it up) but they would mail it out to him. We (my SO and I) went to Harry Rosen in Chinook mall on January 21, 2023 expecting a level of customer service reflective of the Harry Rosen reputation. My expectations have not been met... First impressions upon entering, immediately stared down by the associate at the counter but not greeted or otherwise acknowledged. We walked directly towards the suits and started looking at different options, colours, etc but still no assistance from anyone even though multiple HR staff were standing around with nothing to do except show each other their phones. After finding some styles I liked, we looked for assistance (again) but were still met with disdainful looks or completely ignored. I guess maybe instead of dressing comfortably for the weekend (also my SO has bright purple hair), we should have arrived like we were ready for some black tie affair. Understand I was ready to book a fitting and buy on the spot. It's all good Harry Rosen, my money is clearly not welcome in your store. I'll shop elsewhere.
