Our room was #5, "les Hirondelles", a corner room with views over the village and countryside.
- Very very clean
- Very comfortable bed with high-grade sheets.
- Windows ran all around the room on the corner, with electric blinds. Also in the bathroom.
- Bathroom and shower outstanding. High-end towels. Bathrobes in armoire. Excellent quality soaps.
We opted to have breakfast. Can be taken in the common room or outside. Excellent breakfast with baguette, warm croissants, Jam/jelly (some house-made), juice, coffee.
The common area is tastefully decorated and gorgeous. An adjoining room has a large fireplace before which one can have a warm beverage in winter. (We stayed in September, and would like to return for that experience).
Gregory met us at the door and ensured our stay was comfortable. He gave us a quick tour of the building, explaining its original role as an inn with a stable.
There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the modern circular staircase to your room.
