I would not recommend Slate Hill Storage, JMR Inc nor John Romer, I purchased a garage at over $23,000, in early discussions with John he said he could also help me with foundation, I said I would consider it and I then asked John the question, if I didnt use him for the concrete would he provide a drawing of sonotubes for me to submit with my plans for the permit and he said yes. After giving the deposit I told John I was going to do the concrete myself and asked for the drawing he said no I cant do that. I ultimately did use John for the concrete but its an inch short and building hangs off of it. Once John received my deposit (his pay) he was a totally different person and I felt conned. Aside from that, dealing with Carolina Carports was a nightmare but thats a different review,when I mentioned the trouble with carolina carports to John he said he knows they always do this but if he doesnt sell their product another guy up the street will. The building still isnt complete it looks like crap and the installer has been out 8 different days for what I was told would be a 1 day install. I went to John because I wanted to spend my money locally. It turns out neither of his business is better business bureau accredited, I recommend spending your money elsewhere. read more
