I figured that this would possibly be the most important investment I could make; I am not equipped to deal with a house that has lots of hidden issues. After seeing all the positive reviews for this company, I switched over. I could not be more pleased that I did. Dana explained everything in great detail and in language I could understand, and he went through the house with a fine-toothed comb. This home is a renovation, and everything is brand new, so my realtor expected us to be done with the inspection fairly quickly. Dana spent more time than he had to, explaining things to me, telling me about things I'd need to think of in the future regarding owning a home, and taking pictures of everything so that I have a record of where things are and what they do. Working with him allieviated all of my fears around us missing something that would end up becoming a huge expense to me. I felt like I had a favorite uncle looking out for me and making sure that he was giving me the guidance I needed in a process that is totally unfamiliar and kind of scary. I plan to be in my new home for a long time, but if I ever do decide to go through this process again, he will absolutely be the one I hire as an inspector!

The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

We didn't know at the time that they also performed deck/porch work otherwise we would have hired them from the start. Ten Arya is one of the most sincere, honest, and kindest people you will ever meet. He truly treats others the way he wants to be treated. Almost all of the crew that were at our home building the porch and deck system were also working for Ten 2 years ago. For us, that was very telling of how Ten operates his business. He truly believes that happy employees make for happy customers. From the start, it was all hands on deck, and his crew worked meticulously to finish the project. I can also tell you that no detail was overlooked, as Ten personally was at the job site every day and reviewing all work completed that particular day. However, after texting him multiple times afterward I never got a response. I'm left to guess (12 days later) that the job was not big enough to be worth his time, despite him telling me that he could do the repair work. I found another company to do the work but waited an extra week with a leaky roof counting on his response, which is obviously frustrating.

Rogers Insulation was the company selected by Mass Save following a home energy report. Our…read moreexperience was mixed, with the office and some of the workers really seeming top notch. The negative we had was the project leader for the day of work seemed to have cut corners in several places. It started with not all of the work being done that was on the invoice. The office believed me and sent out a worker to check and they validated the work was not done that was in the invoice. When Mass Save came to inspect the work, they also found the light covers were not installed correctly. All and all, it required 4 visits to complete the work for a variety of reasons.

Rogers Insulation had stellar reviews, so we selected them to add insulation to our attic through…read moreMassSave. When the work was completed, our Building Inspector flagged the work for an insufficient amount of blown-in insulation. Months passed. When Rogers came back for the re-do, they didn't bring enough tubing to reach the attic opening, so they had to go back to Framingham to get more. This despite the fact that the company had already done work here previously, and should have known how much tubing was needed. In the end, the job was done correctly, per the Building Inspector, but the process required more of my time and attention than it should have, with appointments and phone calls. Also without the Building Inspection, we would not have know that insufficient insulation had been installed.

We bought a fridge that was too big for the space. He took the time to raise the above refrigerator cabinet and to rebuild the nearby drawer. These are not glamorous jobs, but he exemplified the same attention to detail that he had on our previous project. I am extremely grateful to Andre for taking time to complete this project.
