Paid him $6417.33 installation of pavers,caps & polymeric sand for my front porch this was 12/4/23. He was supposed to start in spring. My check was cashed the next day,I tried contacting him dozens of times. He should not be in business, he scammed people out of money for work he promised to do and don't deliver. read more

Good luck getting these people to show up for the work. They gave me a plan, price and promises. They promise to show up and never do. I can't believe they're still in business. This went on for over a year - shame on me. Finally found a reputable company and now have a beautiful berm in my backyard. read more

I contracted with JM Landscaping after finding them at the Green Bay Home and Garden Show last spring. I met with the owner in May and gave him a $5000.00 down payment for the work that he was to do. He cashed my check the next day. I have contacted him many times and in the beginning he would return my calls, but as the summer progressed he would not return my calls. He had every excuse that one could make up and the last time I spoke to him was in late October. He was still promising to complete the work that he was contracted to do. He came a removed the granite that I wanted replaced and ripped up my yard with his skidsteer, left a broken shovel in my yard and left. He has since refused to answer my numerous calls and texts. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but the case was closed because he would not respond to them either. He took pictures, made notes, etc. I was super excited to see what his designs were going to look like. We had a time scheduled for him to meet with me. He cancelled and said he would come the next day. I have not heard from him since and am extremely disappointed. We contracted Blake for a $30,000+ landscaping job at our home. He designed the layout, we approved the design and days later met him to pick out landscaping brick for the patio. He was difficult to get in contact with and moved our start date repeatedly. We were first told mid-June, then the end of June, mid July to the beginning of August. Then he came back to our house to review the plan again, of which - we already approved months before - a stall technique? So okay, we met with him again, reviewed the plan again. He never requested a down payment nor sent an invoice. Weeks went by - we heard nothing from him. I sent an email asking for an explanation and clarification of our project's start date - now being late August. No reply. My husband called, left messages - nothing. In December, I saw him in Starbucks in De Pere meeting another client. After he was finished and his client left, I approached him and requested an explanation of his behavior. He initially acted like he did not know me, then pretended to be flustered and apologetic, stated he needed to get in touch with my husband and this is not how he conducts business - well, indeed, it is how he conducts business. We're proof. Now a month later - still no word. Absolutely terrible. read more

My recommendation is that you DO NOT USE this provider. I hired JM Landscaping to install a stone paver backyard patio, sitting wall, and fire pit at my home. Initial communication and responsiveness from the business was good. However, it took a long time to get a commitment from the business as to when they would be able to do the work. When the work was in fact performed, it took approximately one week to do, which was fine. Initially, the finished result looked and functioned great. However, soon after, some quality flaws and issues began surfacing with the work performed. I contacted the vendor with each issue. They are difficult to get in contact with, and I often needed to leave voice mail messages when calling. Further, it would often require me to call multiple times in order to speak with someone and/or receive a response regarding my issue. When they came out to look at and repair the problem, it again took an extended amount of time (several days to a week or more). Finally, last Fall, I had another quality issue with the lights installed on my sitting wall. I spoke with the owner of the company at the time, and since the patio is not used during the winter, we agreed that I would contact them again in the Spring to have someone come out and attempt to resolve the problem permanently. I have contacted JM Landscaping via voice mail message and email several times (more than 10) over the past two months, and have not received any response. Frustrated, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in an attempt to prompt a response from the company. The complaint was files over three weeks ago, and neither I nor the BBB have received any type of acknowledgement or response from the contractor. As stated earlier, initial communication and responsiveness from JM Landscaping was good. However, this deteriorated drastically as time went on. There are many other businesses in the area that do similar work, and the reviews for them seem to be better than this. My recommendation is to stay away from JM Landscaping and use someone else for your landscaping needs. read more
