I provided a few pictures with details of what I wanted and the next day, I got a very reasonable quote to do the work. It took me a couple of days to review some other quotes and scope of work before I got back to Antonio. After I let him know he could do the work he gave me a starting date the next week. He came on time and he and two of his crew, excavated compacted, and set the forms for the concrete Poor. Because of the location of the pad, it was not possible to bring a cement mixer in, and the crew had to do it by hand. Nevertheless, they completed the work within eight hours and provided instructions to cover it when the rains came this afternoon, which they are coming. Frederick, the back office guy, and Antonio were equally professional and kept their word to do just what I asked for. I would highly recommend Antonio Barrows to do cement work for anyone. I took off from work for a 9am install - i was called and told they would not be there till 12 - pm - ok i'll deal with that - the installer did not arrive until almost 4:30pm - no phone call. when i tried calling throughout the day no answer even after i left multiple messages. My wife called from another number and they answered immediately - CURIOUS!! OK installer starts work close to 5pm - leaves job about 7pm and says he will be back 9AM the following morning - next morning 9am - 10am - 11am no installer, i call the owner - he tells me the installer had to go elsewhere before coming to me - no phone call nothing. fast forward installer finally get to my home 11:20am I point out to him the posts are not even in height - he tried to tell me my ground is not level - seriously dude...redo the posts please. ok after a very rocky start the installer finished half the job (because we told him to only finish what he started - we fired the Florida Fencing) and surprisingly he did a fabulous job - we are happy with the section done by installer but the owner lacks professionalism - I lost 2 days of work over this.
