I only had a saw and an axe and one of the workers from Red Squirrel offered to let me use their chain saw. When he found out that I had never used a chainsaw before, he offered to cut the tree himself - and then offered to haul it away. They saved me a lot of time and I have a clean stump instead of a ragged piece of wood sticking up from the ground. I will give Red Squirrel a call when I need my trees trimmed or removed. Called them up, set up someone to come by for an estimate. Had to wait til it was convenient for them, but that's no big deal, I understand. Day comes, no one shows. Call the next day to ask "what-the-heck"/set up another estimate and they won't even answer the phone. Got hung up on TWICE! Good for them that they have so much work they can just let it slide, but I don't like having my time wasted.

I told them they need climbing gear to safety remove the trees. They lied and said that they had climbing gear but showed up with nothing, not even 1 rope. They tried to charge me $400 to remove a little bit of brush that I never asked them to remove. I could of removed the brush in 15 minutes with my tractor. I paid them $250 just to leave my property. I just wanted them gone. I still have all 3 trees that need to be removed and now I need to hire a professional tree company to get the job done or do it myself. They told me the reason why they didn't have a chainsaw was because one of their other crews had the saws but told my wife that someone stole them. They lied multiple times. Their "crew" who showed up to the job consisted of 1 woman 3 children a dog and one man whose jaw was grinding constantly, like he was chewing on a bone. Please be careful if you have these people on your property they were going to send a child up the tree with a clothesline rope tied to one belt loop, no harness, no hard hat no safety equipment whatsoever. I thought very hard before leaving this review because I don't want them to come back and start any trouble but my property is protected with 16 cameras that send me live feed and someone is always there to protect our property. When I hired them the business name was Mullins Landscaping And Tree Services, now they changed their name to C&C Landscaping And Tree Services. I have live audio and video recordings from when they were on my property if anyone needs it let me know.

So I hired him to work labor cost off on deck install as he said that was in his experience. He messed up enough that I asked him not to come back after one of my dogs ended up injured. I'm out a ton of money and now hiring someone else to try to at least complete my project and have it hide as many of the mistakes as possible.
