From the…read moreinitial interview, to the back and forth (quick response) emails, to the culmination of the big day, Scott & Jina came through with flying colors. They were able to incorporate entertainment that had an entire room of 200+ people involved and engaged, they coordinated well with our other venders to nail down the nights pacing, and Scott played and transitioned music wonderfully. It felt comforting knowing that we didn't have to worry about our timeline because we knew it was in good hands, in fact it breezed by so quickly that I rarely looked at my watch. Scott & Jina were the perfect tandem on our perfect day and I sincerely do not think we could have made a better Dj selection elsewhere.

Luckily my parents were able to attend two of the free tastings this catering company provides. With my parents' careful tasting notes, and the help of Charlene (my contact at JM), everything went off without a hitch. Charlene was very responsive and helpful - which is something every stressed out bride greatly appreciates! As the bride, I ate like a bird that night, but I do remember enjoying what I did eat and we received many compliments from family and friends. I especially loved that they offered Ropa Vieja - a favorite childhood dish of mine. :)

They're quick and delicious, we took great notes and ranked all of the dishes so it was simple to determine our menu towards the end. Oh and they did an awesome job accommodating our guests allergies and dietary restrictions! The price was great, the ease was excellent, and the food was complimented on over and over again! I worked many events where things went wrong on the offices end and they decide to blame the event techs for those shortcomings. Many brides and corperate clientele have been frustrated at the state the booths arrive in. They are also very unlikely to give a refund, and will fight tooth and nail to avoid returning money in disaster situations. Worked there for a year, learned all sorts of skills, and was never shown any appreciation for it. Some great people work here, but it feels like they don't have any real interest in retention as they are always hiring.

I learned a lot from the vendors who were selling some of their gear. The studio itself is in a great location with plenty of space to park right in front. Besides the main studio, there is a restroom, smaller room that could be used as a prep room, and a conference/kitchenette room with a full-sized fridge and drink bar. After attempting to contact the owner of this company by phone with my concerns regarding the…read moreperformance of the DJ at my wedding I received no response for multiple days. After which I posted a comment on the company's social media. Only after this did I receive a email that he would contact me regarding my concerns. I replied to him with a detailed list of job performance issues. To which he called me one time. The duration of the call was less than three minutes. He responded to my detailed email with a list of the DJs responses to my concerns. I replied to him that my concerns were not addressed in detail and attempted to call him multiple times. I never received an answer via phone or call back. His response was via email and stated that the matter was being handled in house. The fee was paid by the parent of the groom as a wedding gift to my husband and I, the parent had no knowledge of the ceremony/reception order as the access for the online planning tools was not provided to that parent and they had no knowledge of the ceremony order for toast, Bride/Dance etc. Also please note, that I never contacted this company for a refund of paid funds. I as the bride did not pay these funds. The payment of the DJ was a gift given by the grooms father (deposit & final payment). I am deeply greatly for the gift and discouraged by the service received and lack of resolution or apology from the company. I contacted the company to get clarification on why the order for my reception was not followed as it was very important to me to dance with my father following the first dance. I was never provided an explanation. This post has taken time out of my day and I refuse to let this company spoil the memory of my wedding and love and support of so many people on that day. Below is my detailed list of concerns. I never received clarification. 1) I completed and submitted the accessible and paid for access and service of online event planning forms. I also time/date stamped the completion of this form which I retained 18 days and 13 week days prior to the date of the scheduled event. The website suggested that as to avoid any room for error to complete these forms within seven days prior to the scheduled event. As such, I did so with 11 days excess to allow for the paid party to review their job details. I can not excuse her inability to do as such. As you will see which was apparently not reviewed or followed previously, I requested the "Father Daughter Dance" to proceed before the "Mother Song Dance" and directly follow the "First Dance". These instructions were not completed. The DJ failed to announce/play the "Father Daughter Dance" until after dinner and at a time completely at her own choosing. When asked by the groom, Chase Bourque why this was done in an incorrect manner she explained that she did not have access to the timely completed online access event planning forms. Please believe that I have allowance to complete my own employment tasks and not the tasks of others and as such it is not my responsibility to ensure that she has reviewed her job duties. 2) The DJ failed to timely announce the toast as detailed on the completed and submitted online planning forms, before dinner or at any relative point after. Individual, Courtney Weeks who also used your service stated to me that the DJ "acted completely different at my wedding" and that when the DJ eventually did choose to announce the toast "all groomsmen were absent of the facility in order to decorate the vehicle for departure".
