It needed to be done badly, and he quoted me an affordable price in comparison to other quotes. While the job itself is not cheap, I liked the price. Josten gets the job done with hard work and quality craftsmanship, and kept me informed of each step. Building my retaining wall was not an easy feat with how my yard is angled and the hill my house is on. I would recommend him!

Josten, the owner, is the definition of professional. From our first conversation, it was clear that he takes genuine pride in his work and holds himself to a very high standard. He was communicative, punctual, and thorough in explaining the process, timeline, and expectations. There were no surprises -- just clear communication and follow-through. The quality of the finished patio speaks for itself. The staining turned out beautifully, the surface is smooth and consistent, and the piers were placed precisely as planned for our upcoming deck build. You can tell when someone cares about the details, and Josten absolutely does. He and his crew worked efficiently while still paying close attention to every aspect of the pour and finish. What impressed us most was his commitment to excellence. He showed up when he said he would, stayed on schedule, and delivered exactly what he promised. That level of reliability is rare and deeply appreciated. We were so impressed with the results that we have already scheduled him to return in a few months for another patio pour with piers. That alone says everything about our confidence in his work. If you are looking for a concrete contractor who values quality, timeliness, integrity, and craftsmanship, we highly recommend J Lynn Concrete and Josten. You will be in very good hands.

This business really does not deserve a star at all. First off, after this person came out and said…read moreI would get a bid in a week this didn't happen. I was given two start dates that were never fulfilled. I didn't get the bid contract until 3 1/2 weeks later. This company then attempted to over charge with added labor per his contract to 5 different areas in a very small laundry room (4×7'). Price to put up 4 pieces of wood on the wall from Target store $415.19 .00 price + labor. Labor for trim and panel $276.38 Labor for vinyl flooring + material that I already paid for. $744.54 room size w 7.125x9.08 Labor to install cabinets $566.25 3 cabinets totally $3,150.00 498.00 To paint the wall for this very small room. Thoroughly 5 cans of paint he wanted $2,750.00 This totally for this small room came out to be $10,172.99 and Jeremy Phillips at Strong Arm remodeling and construction, pun intended strong armed me for $2,086.50. I gave Jeremy half the money to start the job and when I called him the day before regarding my receipt and to question him about my contract he started asking me about a job that my husband did on the garage that I originally got a bid for him on which had absolutely nothing to do with my laundry room. However, with us being health care professionals we weren't home to have the job done on the garage anyway. We were both deployed for work. As with this guy, he never follownoed up and now he wants to tell me this is why he is charging me a restocking fee on a contract I never signed regarding my garage. Nevertheless, as for the work on my laundry room, that will be a DIY project too because business owners like Jeremy Phillips sheds a negative light amongst many businesses especially independents. Also, he treated me like I didn't have options and then he had the nerves to say several time he was trying to help us out while trying to over charge us. There is really something to be said about business owners that see the customer as wrong regardless of the of the third rate treatment they bestow upon the customer. I would highly recommend using a company other than Strong Arm for any home improvement or construction needs as per my terrible experience with such a lackluster and inconsiderate professionals if they can even be called such.

I needed to have two VERY LARGE pin oak trees in from front yard cut down wood left, and stumps ground. They were very close to my house! Andrew did a face to face bid. He was very professional and very reasonable priced (other companies either did not do a face to face or took months for them to schedule to tree removal). He had great communication the entire time. I was not able to see the tree removal but my boyfriend and one of my neighbors was very impressed with him and his crew. I was grateful and amazed that they cut and stacked the wood in my back yard. I expected for them to leave it as I was going to cut and stack the branches. Andrew far exceeded my expectations. I recommended to my neighbor and would highly recommend him to anyone that needs tree work or any other service he provides.
