They are crowded with lots of junk, but not many antique options in area. I did find a treasure for a friend here, so not a loss. You can't be too picky - not a lot of choices in this area.

Whenever I stop by the shop I always find something cool or unique there. Quite a bit of jewelry…read moreand always reasonably priced. Got a great deal on a pair of boots there as well. The guy who was working is always nice to me. They do need a better range of book though. I definitely suggest stopping by and checking it out if your nearby.

This odd little shop consists of a small house and an outdoor tent area. The front room is more what I'd call gifts and collectibles: costume jewelry, cheap toys, and novelty items (like those plastic plant beads that you're supposed to use instead of potting soil). The back rooms have more thrift-store-type used stuff: a couple of small racks of coats and clothing, but mostly old VHS tapes, books, and music. They do have a fair amount of $1 books, but many are old and dated without exactly being vintage/antique. The employee was intently watching the end of a movie when we walked in and didn't bother to greet us, but later got into a heated discussion with another customer about the type of engine on a used car the customer was trying to get the owner to buy, or something. The shop is so small that you can't escape anyone's conversation, so... it was pretty awkward. I guess this is a thrift shop in the sense that there are inexpensive used items for sale, but it appear to be a privately owned place and makes no mention of any proceeds going to a charitable cause. If you really want to thrift on the peninsula, I suggest you keep on going to Port Townsend, which at least has a Goodwill.

You all need to make sure to tell your cashiers that they need to be friendly to customers even if they may be having a bad day. The cashier didn't seem to care about customers or working there. Today my daughter and I went to donate clothing to Value Village and a full sized boxed truck from Treasures in Heaven was in line in front of us. Once they pulled up to the unloading area it and started to unload in became apparent this was a loaded full box truck, unloading for well over 30 minutes while cars piled up in line and the driver and passenger did very little to assist in the unloading process while the entire VV team worked their butts off. I doubt the fact people are donating to this Christian organization and simply having it turned over to Value Village is what people donating are hoping for. This is also incredibly rude behavior on behalf of Treasures as the line is nearly out of the parking lot, people are abandoning the line foregoing donating. Many of the boxes are taped shut so the VV workers have to open them prior to accepting them slowing the process further. Treasures is dumping their unwanted inventory at the Issaquah Value Village, holding up the line, hogging up the employees and inconveniencing dozens of people simply trying to do a nice thing. I'm writing this review because I find this behavior extremely unbecoming of Treasures and likely deceptive to those donating there, furthermore it is inconsiderate on multiple levels.
