I just had my cabinets in my kitchen and bathrooms refaced by Marcos Antunes, The Wood Artist. I…read moream so pleased. The quality of his work is excellent. It could have been risky for Marcos Antunes to call himself an artist, unless, as is the case, he actually is! He takes pride in his work and demonstrates that every step of the way. Often times in review you only hear what went wrong. In this case, I wish to tell you what went right. Marcos shows up when he says he will. He even comes to finish the job after payment to attend to the couple of items on my punch list. Do not be fooled by other cabinet refacers. It is extremely important that the cabinets are painted with an oil based paint. This is what Marcos uses. I am certain that it would be less expensive and less of a hassle to use a water based product, but I am also certain that the finished product would be not the same high quality. I cannot imagine receiving more value per dollar spent than I did with this project. I love my "new" cabinets. They have refreshed the look of my entire home.

SERIOUSLY... RECONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY!!!! BUYERS…read moreBEWARE!!!!!! I had a very bad experience with this company. From the first day right on through the present, 2 years later. I am still fighting to get my cabinets done properly. I have a cabinet that was broken from day one. The installer promised to fix it and never did. The doors are warped and don't close properly. The light rail is also warped. I contacted the store only to get a run around for months and from one manager to another to another in the Port Orange, FL store. They can't seem to keep managers long enough to see a project through to the end. I tried contacting the owner, to no avail. The company sent out someone to inspect the warped doors and light rails a year plus later. He took pictures and sent them back to one of the managers showing the defects. Finally, after 2 years, the store ordered new doors and light rail but wanted me to pay the new installers to install the product. I should not have to pay for a defective product. The company is blaming the original installers for the warped product. They told me I needed to contact the original installers to install the replacement parts. The company is not standing behind the workers they hired. The company is doing everything in their power to not correct my issues unless I pay additional money. They also ordered the wrong granite countertop. I complained immediately but got nowhere. In addition, they bullnosed the granite countertop in my house without putting up protection for my house. It took me months to clean up all the granite dust. I went to the store countless times, called countless times, only to be brushed off each and every time. This list of issues just goes on and on and on. Now, we are in small claims over the issues. I had to give a least a 1 star, however, I would not give any.

Stay away. Hire your own contractor. Don't waste your time and money. Christina is a liar. They…read moretell you things then don't keep promises. They hire installers without vetting them. The work is shoddy at best. I have an unfinished bathroom and they refuse to give me a refund for trim that I don't have that the contractor refuses to finish and that probably won't fit due to their negligence. Tom Marina is the owner. I have requested to speak to him but doubt that will ever happen. Please, I beg you, stay away. This was at the St. Augustine store, but I think Port Orange and Ocala are just as bad as I have seen bad reviews for all of them and Christina now works at the Port Orange store. My sister's vanity wasn't even installed properly and she had to wait another week for them to come back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

One cabinet business wanted us to pick cabinets by looking on the internet. They didn't have a…read moreshowroom or displays and they didn't seem interested in what we were looking for. They left it to us to get all the measurements and layout. We aren't carpenters. So we did a search for cabinet businesses and we checked out Wood Kitchen and Bath, LLC. Oh my gosh we wished we had skipped all the struggle with the other cabinet company. Wood K & B made everything simple and worked with us when we changed our minds on colors. They came out and measured and measured again when we had question. They came when they said they would. If we had questions they answered them all. They have beautiful cabinets and countertops to choose from. They couldn't have been nicer to work with. Quality is everything and that's what we got. BIG THANK YOU to Bill Tiedemann. Our kitchen, laundry/pantry room and bathroom are amazing looking. THANK YOU WOOD KITCHEN & BATH. THANK YOU Bill & Sunni

I was considering hiring Wood Kitchen & Bath in Inverness for my total master bathroom remodeling…read more I met with their salesperson Frank at my house. He told me that he will prepare an estimate, but before the plumber would come out, I needed to pay a nonrefundable $500 for all the work he already had did. Having slow business, they skip the payment later and let the plumber come out anyways. I also wanted to replace my pocket door with old French doors of the same size as the original door. That was part of the original estimate. Another person came out with Frank and looked at my bathroom. They insisted that I would buy the vanity from their company as Frank told me that's where they make the money. Stupid comment from his side. The vanity they offered to me as a custom made would have been the same quality of the same item online, but $1,000 more expensive. So, I asked for an estimate without the vanity. They took it out but added $2,000 to the labor. When I asked why I was told it was for the French doors which were already in the original estimate, but because they would cause so much extra work. That's when I knew that they were trying to rip me off. My current contractor is putting those doors in for me for $300. When Frank from Wood Kitchen & Bath asked me why they did not get the job, I told him that he lost my trust! Something to consider hiring this company!
