Fried Chicken, steamed cabbage, sweet potato casserole fried okra. Meatloaf, green beans, steamed cabbage, okra, cornbread.

Pretty good food if you enjoy country cooking. Food was all hot and tasty. Meatloaf was a little dry but everything was good. Service was friendly but a little slow. I think if attention to outside of building and grounds this place would be packed. It's nice & clean on the inside but sketchy looking from the road.

Tomatoes and cornbread

Considering I love to cook, I find it extremely difficult to eat something somewhere without dissecting it. So let's talk about it . Starting with the tomatoes.. fresh tasting.. nothing but salt and pepper is needed for them to be good. 8 out of 10 Cornbread .. not enough tea in my glass to choke down that disaster .. somewhere someone's grandma is offended . 0 out of 10 Peas... love them or hate them... I love them , salt and pepper with butter not much you can do with them. The sauce they're in is thick and I'm picking up a sour hint.... I'll pass 0 out of 10 Mashed potatoes ... instant (unacceptably fail) 0 out of 10 Hamburger steak ... not a premade frozen patty from what I pick up... a little flavor would help this out. 5 out of 10 Gravy and onions .. onions are real... gravy not so much.. if it's not packaged , jarred or canned I'll be surprised . 2 out of 10

This place had a nice atmosphere when I walked in and the waitress. She was really nice. Stated that it might take a half hour to get my food because they only have one cook. It took an hour to get three pieces of fish and then the fish was overcooked, no flavor buried in sauce. The salad was just lettuce a little cheese and tomato chunks. The service was amazing other than I had to wait for an hour. Not her fault but who ever owns it come in and cook yourself or you won't have a restaurant to come too all I wanted to do was get something quick to eat and go to sleep ruin my evening.

Not a Thunderbird a songbird jukebox speakers everything is all right there in it. Don't think the records changed since the 90s though LOL

#98-2021 Just south of Little Rock about a half an hour going towards Texarkana on interstate 30 at Malvern since the old JJ's truck stop. Still family owned mom and pop it's been through many changes through the years as far as branding and a whole lot more. It's still 24/7 365 Cafe included. I don't know if they still have the buffet or not I didn't really ask I came in early nite about 9pm went to sleep got up early in the morning had breakfast ready to roll. Walking in it still looks like about 1994 floor wise and the boost the last time I think it was remodeled much of it still retains its 80s look a lot of old school stuff it is an old place does show its age. Live a little kitty country kind of things you can buy bric-a-brac and stuff like that a few other things there. That's the restaurant building now the main gas station diesel pumps and fuel building it's a separate place where it always has been out where the scale is. Still has a very large truck parking lot although be careful there's a lot of chuckholes in there. There was once talk about having pay the park but it still hasn't come around can could still park for free I had a simple country breakfast when I came in that early morning it was still dark out two eggs sausage patties hash browns and instead of toast biscuit and gravy. It was average straight across the board eggs tasted fine hash browns were just simple the country gravy wasn't a fancy recipe and the sausage could have used an extra piece but it was what it was for the price the coffee was okay. The can was clean at that show its age there too left can use a little remodel but I highly doubt it cuz it's just a small little independent mom and pop place that has their definite country clientele that comes in and keeps them in business along with the truckers.. All in all nothing real fancy nothing real bad just straight across the board ok

Some of the Buffet Offerings on Sunday
Diana G.

We happened to stop by on a Sunday and they offer a buffet. So, we went with that. They did have ribs, chicken, meatloaf and some sides. Not a very large selection. They did have a salad bar also. Desserts were just scattered around on end tables. Overall, the food was okay, but not a big selection. I think they need to get another station to put the desserts on since I saw people walking around coughing...ewww!

Ruben sandwich and pickle, added onion rings, nothing to write home about but it's ok.

JJ's truck stop: Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean restroom. Fresh, hot coffee. Just what I needed as I started a long road trip.

Bathhouse Row -- eight buildings constructed between 1892 and 1923 -- are located in the center of Hot Springs National Park. The star of the show on Bathhouse Row is the thermal water, of course. The mineral-rich water has been bubbling from the land for more than 4,000 years. On Bathhouse Row, you can experience the water in many ways. Note that there are no public outdoor bathhouses, but you can still get all up in the water. One of the most relaxing ways is to soak in the healing waters at one of the bathhouses on the Row. There used to be several bathhouses open, but now only two bathhouses exist in the area. I only visited the Buckstaff Bathhouse, which offers a traditional bathhouse experience, using original bathtubs and equipment from when the bathhouse opened in 1912. More info about this place in a separate review. There's also the Quapaw Baths & Spa, which is more modern, like a typical spa. As you walk along Bathhouse Row, you'll notice many public fountains, some with people at them filling up jugs. The water that comes from the fountains on Bathhouse Row is free. Just bring your own cup or fill a jug to take home. I was surprised by how hot the water was when I tried it -- it's around 143 degrees Fahrenheit. There are also three public places where you can touch the thermal water with your hands. These include the Display Spring, located behind the Maurice Bathhouse; Hot Water Cascade, located at Arlington Lawn; and the Fordyce Fountains, located near the visitor's center. All of these are located at various places along Bathhouse Row. Bathhouse Row (and Hot Springs National Park) is completely free to explore. It's a must when visiting the area!

They have a lot designated for library goers. If you are attending the story time they provide you with a free parking pass for up to 2 hours. Which I didn't know but I'll remember for next time. The library is clean and well organized. I love that the kids area is separate from the other parts of the library; it's on the 3rd floor. The kids area was well organized and I love that they allowed the children to be themselves and play. The librarian we spoke with was really nice. She assisted my son with finding basketball books. They had plenty of books to choose from, they also had plenty of games for the kids to play until story time started. Story time was okay. The lady was very friendly to the children and seemed to really enjoy them and knew how to keep them engaged. She didn't seem very organized but her stories + songs were engaging. Overall nice library.

They're inconsiderate of anyone else in the room, they smell to high heaven, they're aggressive and like to stare, and to top it off some of them will try to peddle shit on you. I once had this squirrelly little guy try to get me to buy some iPhone he stole, despite the fact I have one out and charging on the desk I'd been at. It's generally an unpleasant place to go to unless you can lock yourself inside the study carrels or you're just going to pick up a book.
