There are a number of different trails to explore that are well marked/kept (similar to all Trustees spaces). After some rain in the area, some of the areas are a bit muddy, so one may want to keep an eye on the weather/bring hiking shoes or other shoes you don't mind getting some mud on. You can also hear the hum of the freeway nearby. I also saw a wild turkey on this hike, which I trailed behind for about 10 minutes, haha! Glad to run into a fellow hiker on this trail! :)

The trail was well maintained and easy for walking although it was called as "moderate" in some other mobile apps. All the trail signs are clear and easy to follow. When getting to the top of Holt hill, you will be amazed by the Boston skyline without occlusion. Compared to the breathtaking view at Holt hill, the one at the top of Boston hill slightly disappoints me. It is still an enjoyable walk surrounded by the view of the sunset, but the skyline is missing. You may not get too much out of the elephant rock. Again, overall it is a fantastic place for walking, jogging, and biking.

Things you can do: - see the sun stones! this is an easy route but it is up a hill - elephant rock! honestly it's just a rock, it isn't anything amazing but it is along one of the longer routes. - scenic overlooks of boston skyline! see attached pic I really commend those who marked the trails. My friend and I came here on a Saturday morning. I didn't realize there were so many parking lots…read morearound, but we parked where the GPS took us. We walked a bit to the right and there were so many dogs - it must be an unofficial dog park, or happy hour for the dogs. They were all so cute. My friend had come before so he recommend we walk to Wright's Tower since it gives a vast view of the neighboring houses and landscape but also Boston in the far distance. It was a perfect hike of about 45 minutes there, and about an hour back since we did trailblaze a bit. We were following a GPS, but there are colors and signs periodically on the trees to guide you through the trails. I wouldn't say its too scenic, but it is relaxing and the terrain is perfect, with some spots being intermediate level but mostly all of it being beginner or easy. We did see some people on bikes, and others jogging. When we got to the tower, we went inside and climbed the stairs to the top. From there, you can look out in all directions to get some really nice views. It is worth the climb. We plan on eventually going back and trying longer or more challenging trails. But overall I think it's a gem that isn't too far from the city.

So, last year, when I saw an event was scheduled to take place there, I figured it would be a safer time to visit. Well, yes and no. I wasn't the only person going, but because I wasn't the only person going, their parking lot was full, so parking was a bit of an issue. I checked out the grafitti, making my way around the folks standing or sitting around, to get a closer look at the rocks. I stayed on the grassy ground while I noticed some folks climbing up the rocky cliffs, both with and without rock climbing gear.

It is a very small loop trail with sign posts markings noting some of the natural environment area. It is a very flat and easy walk- with a packed down gravel trail. I recently was taking a walk with a coworker and we can across a flock of turkeys pecking and mulling about! There is a small parking lot and access off Rifle Range Road.
