I didn't really know what to expect when I found Alliance Champions Center on Google Maps but I was pleasantly surprised by the high caliber jiu jitsu and the facility itself. If you're looking for a place to work out, this gym has everything you need: turf, cardio machines, barbells, bumper plates, etc. Now, if you're looking for a place to train Brazilian jiu jitsu, this is one of the top places in the country. Professor Rafael is a incredible teacher and his keen eye for details helped me revamp my game in a short time frame. His students share his passion for the sport and welcomed me with open arms. I like that Bobby seemed more technical in his instruction and all the students were focused on learning the right techniques instead of trying to aggressively (and sloppily) wrestling each other. This place looks like any regular gym would. They got specific areas for whatever class you are…read moretaking. They let me borrow some gear for my first class. The person up front is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. The teacher I had made sure to demonstrate each move before letting the class practice the move. Them we were partnered up with another person in that class and we did that whole bit a couple times before planking. There is a locker room with bathrooms and showers. They have a schedule for adults that shows all the classes they'll have Monday through Saturday. They also have classes for kids and overall it's a great place to learn. I only give 4 out of 5 because it's my first gym and while it was great, I have nothing to compare it to. I definitely recommend.
