Dr. Geiger and his team were kind, knowledgeable, and professional. They explained everything clearly and made a stressful situation so much easier. I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Fountain Square Dental to anyone--local or visiting--who needs quality dental care in a pinch! Thank you so much, Fountain Square Dental!

He and his staff made me extremely uncomfortable. When I expressed my concern, the dentist became rude and mean in a very patronizing way because I spoke up about it. On a subsequent visit, I arrived a few minutes late wearing a boot because my leg was injured, and the escalator wasn't working that morning in the building his office is located. When I walked in, he gruffly told me to sit down and open my mouth, then jabbed me hard with a needle with no warning to numb my teeth, in what I believed was retaliation, after I politely requested his staff to stop violating my privacy. In prior visits, he informed me what he was going to do. After treating me disrespectfully, he then rudely lectured me on being a few minutes late, that one occasion, like I was a child and not a grown woman, never acknowledging the accessibility issues in his building that morning. His assistant took pictures of my teeth with a polaroid camera and X-rays at my first visit, but later claimed at my second visit, that they delayed that they didn't take pictures or couldn't locate them for my follow- up visit and took the same pictures again. I still wonder to this day, considering how violative they were of my privacy, what they did with the first set of pictures that I absolutely know they took. I should've never returned after that, considering how odd that my pictures disappeared. The first thing the lady did was take pictures of those teeth. I have always had bright white teeth; yet after multiple visits there, I noticed little nicks and stains in my teeth that were not there before I went. Be would sand teeth that he was not working on. I never felt comfortable with that, as I've never had a dentist do that before, which might explain the nicks. That was also the only time in my life where a hygienist cleaned my teeth and the dentist did not come in to check her work on my teeth after she finished. Is that even legal? The dentist also told me about a few of other patients that I had no idea were his patients, before he told me, violating their privacy too. He also repeatedly questioned me about my prior dentists, asking questions that I didn't believe was his business to ask. Ultimately, he became really mean and condescending at my last visit, in a scary way; his personality changed in such a bad way after I requested his office to respect my privacy, that I never went back. That was by far the worst most bizarre dental experience in my life.

I really wanted to like this office. I went to her with an open mind and heart. She came up with a…read moreserious treatment plan that cost over 12,000 dollars out of pocket. Then wanted to start with a deep cleaning around 1400 dollars. I had the deep cleaning and 2 months later I have the same problem. They are not clear on their pricing and are a little shady. I thought the total was $1300 something and signed off. Turns out 2 months later they send a bill saying I'm behind 60 days on over for $450. They definitely are doing some kind of billing scam. Because I would NEVER agree to over 1700 dollars for a cleaning out of pocket. The $1300 was a fortune for me. Initially they sent me a bill that didn't even include all of my payments. I had to send them my bank checking account screen shots of all that I had paid. They showed me that I had only paid $ 100 and then another $576. But I had paid them three payments of $100, $576, and $350. They had given me a credit of 261.21 in discounts. So you can see why when I was charged the $350 on my cleaning day I was led to believe that was the total balance paid in full. Or why not ask for more money that day? I would have paid it then. Most I should owe is $95 dollars, but they are reporting that I owe about 450.00 still. They just bumped up the total price after I caught them not remembering my payment of $350 and it took them 2 months to get back to me about the billing error. So now it's not 1300 something that I agreed to , but 1732 that i agreed to. Very shady. They don't take my insurance either, which is why I paid out of pocket to treat an tooth abscess. I went to her for help , serious help to preserve my life. I'm out of a thousand dollars and I still have the same problem. I cried in the office and I'm crying now but mostly angry. I threw a thousand dollars away on nothing. So I'm certainly glad that I didn't take out a loan to pay her the 12,000 that she wanted to do more work. four crowns and 2 fill ins. Something aint right. My recommendation is to stay away from her offices if you are poor, working poor, middle class. She is only for the rich who can throw money away on overpriced services. She is definitely NOT a servant of the people or God. Wish I didnt have to warn you, but cuídense hermanas. take care sisters. رعاية الأخوات PS I hope her office doesnt break patient confidentiality too like it seems in their responses on here. We'll see. As a woman it reminded me of a car dealership or auto mechanics. I was prey.

Turns out Sever Star doesn't take my insurance... which is completely fine. The problem is the scam they run to still get money from people. I called to make an appointment and gave them my insurance information over the phone. I showed up for my appointment, filled out MORE forms about my insure, and sat in the lobby for 15 mins. Then I took a 30 minute tour of the entire office, and shown all the equipment. During ALL OF THIS TIME no one informed me that they didn't take my insurance. Instead they sat me in an X-ray chair and proceeded to take films of my teeth. FINALLY, after they performed a task they could bill me for, they sat me down in a room to make future appointments and let me know in a fancy PowerPoint what the bill would be. So they clearly knew all along that they didn't take my insurance, but decided to troll me into services that I didn't need or request BEFORE telling me that I'd have to pay out of pocket. It's just a straight up scam, no other way around it. If you're already paying out of pocket and you don't mind overpaying, then there's definitely nothing wrong with Seven Star. I hope you enjoy your experience. However, if you DO have insurance... and would like to use it without being trolled and scammed out of your money then go find one of the other 1000 dentists in the area.

I can't even begin to to tell you how comfortable and amazing my experience has been with Dr. Gay…read more I finally bit the bullet and went to the dentist. At the time of my initial appointment I hadn't been to the dentist in about 10 years (I know, shame on me) so I was a little nervous going on. I had this fear that I'd be shamed or judged and be made to look careless about my oral hygiene. I experienced none of that. My appointment started with an initial consultation with Dr. Gay that included my background, my goals, his goals for me and a general plan of action. It proceeded on to x-rays etc with another discussion about the status of my mouth. From there Dr. Gay laid out my exact issues with both teeth and gums, and the steps we would take, while making sure to treat me without blowing through my insurance limits. He made sure to convey to me the importance of treating the issues with my oral health in a way that wasn't condescending or judgemental. He seems like he truly cares about getting his patients back to great health (he mentions often how he feels bad when people say they hate going to the dentist). The office staff from the hygienists to the reception team is fantastic. The location is prime (great views of the city). And the entire process has been painless ;) I'm glad I did a little research to find Dr. Gay and his team because it's given me a new found appreciation for the treatment of my teeth and gums and I can thank Dr. Gay for it.

About how his hygienist has a marvelously calming attitude and how his front desk staff are lovely and generally accommodating to my scheduling needs. About how understanding he is to my financial concerns when potential costs for work look like being expensive and how fantastically he willingly - and speedily - looked after my elderly father's dental emergency whilst on holiday with us from England (and then refused to charge us anything for his professional assistance). About how, after any kind of dental surgery, he calls you personally in the evening to see how you're faring and to find out if there's any problems he can address. Then I realized I can sum up how good a dentist he is with one sentence.... I am British and he has successfully managed to deal with MY teeth! That is all.
