The welding Dylan did for me, was/ is awesome, and the pricing was fine too…read more It is the fact that he was being repeatedly DISHONEST that kind of ruined it for me. I'm just disappointed when I see someone talented like him, choose dishonesty instead of "the right thing". I found him online, advertising parts from a motorcycle he was parting out. I was interested in multiple parts for one of my bikes and gave him a call. He offered the whole bike at a reasonable price just to take it off of his hands, and we agreed that I'd go and meet up with him. In our conversation, it also came up I had an exhaust part for one of my bikes that needed repair, and described it to him and he said he could definitely do that and gave me a good price so I took the part with me too. After meeting, I did agree to purchase his bike, and while I was loading it onto my trailer, he went to try and fix my exhaust part. Shortly, he came back, saying he couldn't. Dishonesty #1 was that he then did ask for $50 for "repairing" it for "the time he had to spend trying to fix it". This was at his shop, with 2 or 3 of his friends/ co-workers there and I was by myself so I decided not to "push my luck" and gave him the $50. Dishonesty #2 involved the Bill of Sale he gave me. It was (mostly) fine - he wrote it by hand, and it was not exactly legible - it happens. When I took it to the DMV though, the clerk couldn't read it and wasn't going to accept it, along with the fact that he didn't come up as the current registered owner. I called Dylan and he told me it was from a friend's friend and that he'd find out the name, which he later did. I asked him to sign a new Bill of Sale - which I had typed up for legibility - and a Statement of Facts for the DMV so the chain of ownership can be proven to the DMV and I can register the bike, and he agreed. We agreed to meet up that weekend but then he "disappeared". Wouldn't answer my calls. I ended up taking the papers to his shop and leaving them for him (as he wasn't there). At that point, I was finally able to reach him one last time and he told me he'd sign them and get them back to me. I haven't heard from him since - he has "ghosted me". Dishonesty #3 involved a needed repair to the motorcycle. He originally wanted to fix it up and use it, but found there was a crack in its frame and didn't feel "safe" fixing it as the frame might be bent and thus dangerous so he decided to sell it. After I bought it and took it home, and disassembled it, I inspected the frame and it was straight so I asked him if he could weld it (since this is his specialty) and he said he could. I did make it very clear to him that I'm having him weld it so I can fix it up, register it and put it back on the road, which he understood. I told him that for this I'd need him to sign the (above) typed version of Bill of Sale and give me a Statement of Facts on ownership chain so the DMV can/ will process my request for registration, and he agreed. I dropped it off for him on a Saturday morning and picked it up that night from his shop (he was already gone) and paid him online. It looked nice. That's when I dropped off the papers at his shop for him to sign, which he told me he would, and that was pretty much the last time I could reach him. The dishonesty was/is, if he DIDN'T intend to sign papers - he should have said so, AND BEFORE I'd pay him money for work that (I had told him) I'd only need IF the paperwork was all complete (so I can USE the bike not just for paperweight). I find this unfortunate - as PROMISING as his skill set and offerings seemed to me at first (specialty welding and fabrication) which I COULD use from time to time, I'll NEVER use or recommend him to anyone due to his dishonesty. After I thought I was now stuck with a chunk of pricey junk (after repair cost and extra parts purchased), I did go back to the DMV, and did explain what all happened, to a DMV employee, who DID understand and was trying to be helpful, and - he DID process the registration for me, so ultimately, there was a "happy ending"... But I would have preferred we have a Happy Ending for all of us - unfortunately, didn't turn out to be the case.

I purchased a 24'x17' standalone garage from Interstate Steel in July of 2025. It's a nice garage…read morebut I would not purchase another from this company. The reasons are 1) It took over 5 months from when I ordered it to get it installed. 2) When I had an issue with a leaking roof they told me they wouldn't do anything about it because I had tried to seal the leak from the inside with rubber sealant (I had tried to seal it myself because it was probably going to be 5 months or more before they came back out). 3) They used screws on the roof that had rubber coated washers on them but even still I think that's where my leak was coming from. I ended up having to go up on the roof and seal every single seam from the overlapping metal and every single screw. 4) I had to seal around the window and the door jam because they both leaked a fair amount. 5) They garage uses a roll up door which leaves a few inch gap at the top that can't be sealed and I've only been able to find one automatic garage door opener that might potentially work on this roll up door and it's about $1,600 and needs to be professionally installed. 6) To have a more finished look on the inside it needs to be framed and walled adding to the cost of the overall garage set up. If you haven't started your project I would seriously consider looking at a stick build over a metal garage, even if the initial cost is higher.

This company PACIFIC BEND INC is not only a joke but it's completely unprofessional in every way,…read morelet me elaborate on my experience. I decided to give this opportunity a chance since Mrs. Taylor was friendly and I thought I was going to be trained but when I arrived on the first day, I quickly discovered I would have zero training. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism in hiring someone internal as well as external. I didn't get introduced to anyone on the team, never received a tour of the building, and wasn't even shown the bathroom. I was never told and trained about the company, what they do in detail, who they hire, policies, procedures, absolutely nothing. I quickly discovered the culture and work environment were toxic and managed poorly. I was told that the last HR Administrator quit and ghosted, with my observation and experience, I knew why. During my short and awful experience with Pacific Bend Inc, I had to terminate candidates, write up candidates, schedule and interview candidates, hire, review attendance, and follow up with employees, with zero training on their company procedures or policies.  With that being said, I witnessed a worker's comp case that was unprofessional since the owner Mr. McKee tried to use a scare tactic to get the employee to back down from filing the case, as a witness the employee was very professional and kept his professional demeanor, but Mr. McKee used inappropriate language and was unprofessional. Unexpectedly Mr. McKee confirmed I was in fact in charge of the case when I was only there for two hours with zero experience and received no training.  I have never experienced this in my career, not even as a former recruiter I would never approve of this company as a client, and I would never place any candidates to work here. It's beyond toxic.  Pacific Bend Inc is VERY unprofessional and should be closed from wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, and should be sued for unfair treatment. EMPLOYEE SIDE:  Pacific Bend Inc doesn't treat its employees with respect. They treat them like numbers, and it shows. I was only there for a short time, and I had several employees complain about how they were hired, that the environment was gruesome, and they weren't accommodated from working in the heat or the dangerous work environment that they were in. They also confirmed that the hiring process is very unprofessional and as a witness to Pacific Bend Inc's procedures this is 100% true.  This is a kind and professional notification to anyone who considers working at this company that they should strongly reconsider and if you do and experience any type of unprofessional conduct as I did, report it to a lawyer since you have rights.
