He stated this was for hours worked and many more days than originally needed. Unfortunately we didn't pay attention to days he was there, hours nor crew. There were days he didn't come, his crew would be there for an hour or so and we didn't keep track. Not once did he mention how much more it would be. He made a statement that he'd have to rent the equipment longer and that would increase the price, but that was all. We used our entire savings, and had to pull out 10,000 from our 401K to pay him. We now have a dirt lot we can't do anything with due to no funds. The work itself isn't bad. The job was well done. But I'd keep track of exact hours, crews and make everything written down in the contract. This destroyed us financially.

Raul seriously knows his stuff and he is more than willing to spend some time offering advice or recommendations for how to manage all kinds of stuff land management related and heavy equipment related. We have already used him a couple times for major mow jobs of 10 acres and have some other projects in the works. He has a remarkable memory for the land which helps him avoid hazards and do the best job he can. He's also very responsive and has answered all kinds of questions for us to help us out. He has numerous heavy equipment pieces and seems to have the right equipment, knowledge, and know how to accomplish just about anything. He takes pride in his work.
