Ordered for the first time last night looking for a great home made pizza. We don't eat out often, so was hopeful this was going to be a great experience. Unfortunately the deal we decided on which included 2 2-topping large pizzas, 12 wings and mini-cinnamon buns was rather terrible overall. The pizza was horrid and I threw most of it out. The next day I had terrible heartburn from the awful tomato sauce. The wings were OK and the dessert fair to poor. For a $40 deal I was expecting so much more. Ordered last night and it took an hour and a half to arrive. When it finally did the pizza was cold and the salad was hot. Terrible! Don't do it! Called to speak with a Manager and all they did was offer $10 towards my NEXT purchase! Well first of all, you need to show me customer service to make it worth ever calling you again! No thank you! You should learn how to deal with customers if you want to continue being in business. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and had you dealt with this matter appropriately to start with, MAYBE we would have considered returning. Pizza is great, but the customer service is inconsistent. I work for Convergys in Chilliwack and we have a deal with Jims pizza for large 4 topping pizzas at 12.55 a pizza. This location seems to depend on the day for when they honour this deal with us, while the downtown one will do it every time. I had to call the downtown location and have them call the Sardis one to get them to give the deal. Will be giving the Downtown location a much better rating. Pizza tastes good but the reason I order as often as I do is this discount with work. Edit: After having a good conversation with the owner he revealed that some the newer employees had not been trained on this yet and so didn't know what to do with me, and did his best to make it right. I can understand that so I changed it to 4 stars as the food is quite good and the owners definitely are looking to have the best service possible. read more

Ordered 2 medium pizzas for delivery on May 6 2019. We are new to Chilliwack after moving from northern BC 2 weeks ago. We ordered a medium special pizza and a two topping medium pizza and were quoted for 2 special pizzas so I asked for extra cheese on the 2 topping pizza and was told it would be 2 dollars more for the cheese. When I asked why I was told it was policy and have a nice day and he hung up. I had to call back to make sure they were processing our order. I can only give them a solid three stars. It's unfortunate, and I agree with the guy who said they made a liar out of him (me too). I worked there for three years (1994-1997). Delivered, and did prep work in the back. I'm not here to judge that side of the business though. I AM here to mourn the downgrade from the quality from what I remember. I went there in 2009 while passing through the area, and it was still great. But this time around (July 2014), I found the crust to be weak and unremarkable. The toppings were still at a general standard I remembered, but the cheese was seemingly a lower grade. As for the dips (they're riding the coat tails of places like Panago with the dips), they are third party dips made by Hellmans, and for $0.50 each, not really worth it. Panago dips are $0.25 each. I didn't hate the pizza, but it wasn't what I remember dating back to 2009 or earlier. read more

Absolutely terrible, terrible food. I was disgusted with the service I recieved. The cheese was bland, the ratio of cheese to sauce/bread was WAY off. I called to ask for my money back and they offered me a credit, to which I responded "Why would I want to eat more of your food if it made me sick and it tasted incredibly awful?" They have a strict no-cash-back policy so you'd probably be better off just ordering from Dominos or Pizza hut and leaving Jim's Pizza in the dust. They don't care about their customers -- Instead of trying to resolve my issue, they blocked me from the ability to post on their facebook wall. Really unprofessional and absolutely horrifying. Very disappointed . After 20 years not having a pizza from Jims,I must have built it up too much in my mind. Crust is good. Lots of sauce. Love the pepperoni And mushroom. But the cheese is like something you might do at home. It just misses the stringy stretching quality it once had. And the dough balls on the top were old and not worth the effort. They make an amazing allergy-free type pizza! I'm unable to eat any dairy and meat, and avoid gluten and wheat. I got a gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, vegetarian pizza, and it was really good, shockingly. Most gluten-free stuff is just plain nasty, but their pizza is so tasy, and they LOADED it with vegan cheese and veggies. Loved it. Going back tonight for some more of that goodness. Gotta pay a bit extra for all the modifications but you gotta do that everywhere so it's still reasonably priced. (plus their specialty crust is free of eggs and some other allergens, if you have problems with that stuff.) read more

Great pizza! We were visiting Chilliwack for a motorcycle race and had Jim's pizza for dinner in between races, it was delicious. We were not planning on getting pizza for dinner, but thank you so much to the man at the dog park that referred us here, you know who you are :) Cooked perfectly, sauce had a sweet + well seasoned flavor (I feel like this is rare for a pizza joint, usually sauce is pretty bland) and the dough was soft on the inside w/ a lightly crisped outside. I had a review on this company before, sadly some how it is no longer here. So I heard good things and bad things about this place. Thought I give it a try. My Order was: Pizza, Salad x 2, garlic bread x 2, lasagna x 2 and what we got was lasagna, pizza, one salad, one garlic bread. I called and said the order was wrong, this is before I even tried the pizza. I was told now worries, we will get on that for you. Only to receive a call a few moments later saying that we never ordered that. I then proceeded to tell her that I did as why would we order lasagna with only one garlic bread. She then yelled at me saying I was Wrong. I immediately asked to speak with a manager and was told she was the manager. I then asked to speak with the owner and they had not been in that day. I then went to eat the pizza and the lasagna and it was horrible. The lasagna looked as if someone thrown up in the lasagna. The pizza was also horrible. We took a total of 3 bits each. One of the pizza, one of the lasagna and the only thing that was eatable was the salad and we only got one of 2. I then called back, and told them the food was horrible, and I wanted to give it back to them. I had 99% of the food left to give them. They said we do not do refunds. I was like well I am not paying for something I don't like. The manager said well we will only give you more food and will not give you your money. I then asked to speak to the owner. the manager said no they are not in. I said that is fine please have them call me. That evening we made our own food. I then thought when I speak to the manager my experience would change. However it did not. I then called the store and spoke to a man, told him what happened and just kindly asked for my money back. He then said we don't give money back we only give you credit for the store. I then told him, my experience with your store does not warrant me to visit again. I just want my money and I will be quite and walk away. He then said no. The food is good and no one ever complains. I then started to explain to him the Canadian Consumers Protection polices. He then said I will talk to my wife and daughter as we are all owners. His wife called me back, Helen I think it was and before I could say to words she said this. "I know who you are and I am not giving you a refund at all. I know where you live, I know what you do so don't ever come into my store again or I will call the cops on you" At this point I got angry and was like what the hell, Why would you just start talking to me like this. How are you in business. Do you talk to all your people like this. It has been almost a year since this has happened, I have never walked into the store, I have never ordered from there. What I have done though, I have told hundreds and hundreds of people about how I was treated from the owners them self. All they had to do was give me my $32 back. Thats it. I was at a fundraiser, Someone said lets order Jim's, I hear they are good. It would have been an order of over 50 plus pizzas for them. I told them what happened and we ordered from Papa Johns In Chilliwack. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, They will yell at you, Steal your Money and tell you your wrong. I will never go there and I will always tell everyone I talk to about pizza what happened. They still owe me $32 read more

We ordered chicken wings from Jims last night, when they came they looked like they had been run over by a truck as well THEY HAD BEEN HALF EATEN AND ON SOMEONE ELSE'S PLATE AND RECYCLED without a doubt! The customer service from the manager as well as the owner was very poor as well, we only wanted them to come and get the food as we hadn't eaten any of it and return our money, which was not an option credit or exchange, this was not acceptable and neither was the food, I wouldn't have fed it to my dog! We love Jim's Pizza. It's the only Pizza we like to order in Chilliwack. Whenever we have a large event at our house with friends from out of town they always want Jims. They have had their ups and downs throughout the years with a few changes in ownership. But the people who own it now are genuine and trying to build a good business with good people and good food. read more

If I could give no stars...it would be more accurate. Pizza came, 2 out of 3 pizzas had the toppings half slid off. But thats besides the point if the pizza tasted good which it didnt...we all could not get over the crust the bottom was literally cardboard hard??? I used to say that Jim's was the best pizza in Chilliwack, and my family agreed with me. Unfortunately since the Vedder Rd location was taken over by the Downtown location a few months ago, this is no longer the case. I don't fully know the whole story, but apparently the two businesses started out under one owner, then the Jim's on Vedder split off to become its own entity but kept the name. They had their own recipes and menu independent of the restaurant downtown. I found the Vedder location to be amazing, the crust was medium in thickness and had just the right "pull" to it, it was a little bit chewy but not too dense. The sauce was also perfect, nicely spiced without overpowering the toppings. A few months ago the Vedder location was bought out by the downtown location, and they went to the downtown's recipes. The crust is very thick but very soft, much more bread-like than I like my pizza crust to be. Their sauce is much sweeter than the old style, certain topping combinations no longer work because the sweetness of the sauce doesn't merge well. I still buy from Jims because it's still better than the chain alternatives, but I wish I could find something to compare to their old recipes. read more

Jim's, both locations, have halted any customer service. They refuse to take responsibility for their own screw ups and the quality for some reason has faltered greatly. Grease covered crap, I will no longer purchase from either location. I was a 12 year customer and they offered me a whole $5.00 discount for ruining my family's entire fun night. Not even a free small pizza. If that's the way they treat long time customers, 2-3 thousand over the years at least, I for one will never allow their slop to cross my threshold again. Since the tragic passing of last owner the quality has faltered at this location. All of the veggies and toppings are being chopped into little tiny pieces like they've been in a food processor. They used to be cut into larger slices so you could experience all the flavors together and separately. The crust is hit and miss on sogginess as well as the sauce, but when the sauce is good its excellent! Looking forward to improvement. read more

About the end of August 2014 I made a trip to Jim's after, perhaps, 3 years of not having been a customer. I ordered a medium meat with extra cheese (NO CHEDDAR!!!!!) when I picked up the pizza I did not open the box. When I got home, and grabbed a piece, imagine my surprise when I saw CHEDDAR!!!!!!!! I returned the pizza, looking for a refund, as a replacement was out of the question, I was informed that no refunds were available, however they would replace. I was past the point of desiring a pizza, and I left the premises. When I got home, I called the Chamber of Commerce, who contacted the owner(s) who then contacted me. I explained the situation to the "New" owner, that I was retired, and that my pizza buying days were VERY few and far between. I was asked if I wanted a large, or a couple large pizza's to replace what I had gotten, and I told the Gentleman that I would not be able to use that much food, and that my complaint was that I only wanted what I paid for. He then suggested that the 30 day limit that they normally place on a replacement would be lifted for me, and that a standing order would be left at the downtown location for whenever I wanted. I thought that this was a very kind thing to do as well as good business. HOWEVER, I called this week (March 2015) on the strength of that promise, (as I had company) and no-one, neither the outlet, nor the "Owners" knew anything, nor would accept responsibility for the promise!-Never again, Jim's, I likely lost a lot of brain cells over the years, but losing your business over an uttered promise for one of your sub-standard products will hurt you more than my loss! Not only did the Cheddar Cheese pizza disappoint, but the bite I had was crappy indeed-go elsewhere if you want the quality you pay for. read more
